No help or information from airport staff who promptly vanished at the 1st sign of trouble. Edinburgh airport really needs to have a long hard look at itself."

Points positifs : "Crew were polite, better than on the outward flight from Paris CDG to Leeds, but seemed more interested in chatting to each other than to reassure passengers about the long delays. Once underway, the flight progressed well."
Points négatifs : "When a 30 minute delay was announced (13.45 instead of 13.15), I was fairly philosophical. However, we didn't board until 13.45. Once settled in our seats, another 25 minutes went by when the plane did not move. No information's given. I asked a member of the cabin crew what was going on who said she didn't know anything. I then heard her ask (presumably the captain) on the intercom if he could make an announcement as 'passengers were enquiring' We were then informed that we would have a further delay of up to an hour. We eventually took off at 16.00, over two hours after scheduled time. Thank goodness, I had left plenty of time for my connecting train. I was equally unimpressed for different reasons with Jet2.com on the outward flight on 12 July. I will not be flying with them again."

Points négatifs : "The thumping 'music' as we boarded, the over-jolly announcements which treated the passengers as if they were all mentally deficient or poorly educated. The information they conveyed was clear and comprehensive and obviously, safety instructions are crucial, but the format and tone of delivery were so patronising I thought they were a parody. They also assumed everybody was coming back to the UK after their holiday - the flight had a good proportion of French passengers and some of us don't live in the UK. Make the announcements more neutral. I fly with a lot of no-frills lines, especially Ryanair and EasyJet as well as the larger carriers such as Air France, BA, SAS and Air Canada, but I have never come across such grating and irritating announcements. I will think twice before booking another flight with them rather than endure this again."

I was glad that i could take my hand luggage onto the plane, allowing me to exit without having to wait at the carousel. There was plenty of space in the overhead locker. I liked the sense of humour in the announcements - it proves that even serious things can be said in a pleasant manner"

They left us outside in the cold and extreme wind instead of having us just stay inside until the plane was ready. When I complained the employee said there was a woman onboard with a wheelchair and they didn’t have a way to get her off. When we finally got on takeoff was delayed another hour. They blamed all of this on air traffic control staffing in France, didn’t take any responsibility for the delay with the wheelchair. Ryanair is a disgrace."

Points négatifs : "Having chosen a seat in the emergency exit row, was told that I couldn't use my jacket to cover myself while I slept; I either had to wear it or store it in the overhead locker. I understand that this row needs to be kept clear in case of emergency (as the name indeed suggests), but I don't see much difference between wearing the coat and using it to cover myself. Worse than that though was the way the stewardess communicated this to me with a cold stare. I'm waiting for the day I can write a positive review of a Ryanair flight."

On me promet que Latam sera la compagnie de basse entre Berlin et Natal et je m aperçois au moment ou le billet arrive sur mon ordinateur, qu il y a plusieurs compagnie dont Ryanair qui facture les bagages et la carte d embarquement. De plus, Kayak s est debrouillé pour que je fasse 4 ecales, d autant plus interessants car ceci rapporte d autant aux compagnies associées! Une honte!"

Points négatifs : "Nous avons l'habitude de voyager (plus d'une 100aine de vols à notre actif) en court et long courrier et c'est la première fois qu'on assiste à une telle scène de chaos. Un accident a rendu la piste impraticable pendant 2h. L'accident est imprévisible mais sa gestion une honte. Malgré cela on nous a fait embarquer après 15minutes passées au pic du soleil à 38•C, afin que nous soyons au frais et assis dans l'avion. Après 30min le commandant de bord nous a indiqué quon serait mieux dans le hall de l'aéroport. Nous sommes donc descendu pour se retrouver parquer, et j'insiste sur le terme, dans un hall où les passagers des 6 vols suivants prenaient déjà toute la place. Nous nous sommes donc retrouvés englouti sous une masse de passagers sans savoir si nous devions attendre ou se réorganiser. Nous avons passé 1h30 à attendre debout dans un hall où la climatisation ne pouvait plus refroidir au vue du nombre de passagers. Passagers collés les uns aux autres tellement il n'y avait plus de place. Dans ces passagers : des enfants en bas âge, des personnes âgées, des femmes enceintes. 1h30 à 38•C sans Air puisque toutes les portes fermées. Le calvaire a continué dans l'avion où le personnel de la compagnie Ryanair ne s'est pas excusé et ne nous a jamais proposé un seul verre d'eau durant ces deux heures de retard. Ils ont préféré proposer des bouteilles de 50cl à 5euros. Aucune facilité pour personne, aucune aide, aucun service. Une prise en charge médiocre malgré des passagers on ne peut plus patients. PS : et pour couronner le tout, un décollage et un atterrissage des moins qualitatifs que nous avons pu vivre."
