Boarding and deplaning were smooth and efficient. I really appreciated that there was no charge for checking a bag. I am certain that contributes to the ease of everyone getting on and off the plane. Our bags arrived at baggage claim about the same time we got there. I would definitely fly with Virgin Atlantic again."

The attendant that I had for my section also told me that all food and drinks were free so they gave me a few extra adult drinks here and there which is a plus for how long the flight was going to be. The movie selection is great also having some on there that are still in theaters is a huge plus."

Breakfast left me wanting something else, lets just say this if you are given the choice of something vs french toast, take the something."

Multiple levels of passport control and baggage checkout are chaotic, but that's for most all flights coming into USA? VIrgin/Delta handled it well enough. By the time we got through passport control in Boston ur bags were waiting and we had no problems at all."

Food selection for dinner ran out quickly, resulting in only 2 choices and one is hot spicy, so basically only one choice. All beverages are given out in small cups, even water is given out in small cups increments (finish in one gulp), they don't even give out small bottles of water. No complimentary packet (eye shades, socks etc.) , not even a barf bag for collecting trash."

Points négatifs : "You lost our luggage. We were able to pick up our luggage after the Sydney flight, but they never made it to Minneapolis. What I don't understand is why we were not able to get boarding passes and seat assignments when we did our check-in in Sydney? Why is that so hard? Also, when we were getting our boarding pass in LAX it was so confusing when it asked for checked bags. Our bags were already on a belt going to who knows where - were we supposed to check "yes"? If we had a boarding pass this would not have been an issue."

Previous I took a VA flight to Perth from Melbourne. Same distance, bigger plane, entertainment on seat backs and a meal. This flight soured me."

Points négatifs : "Watch out for checked baggage fees on short haul international flights. If you buy their saver fare, VA charges you $130 to check a bag at the check-in counter. Highway robbery in my opinion! Make sure you add a bag beforehand. Corporate greed at its worst."

When we got to the airport it cost us $130 each to check our bag which we were told it would have been around $50 if we had done it online ahead of time (if we knew). $130 per bag is excessive for checked luggage and we were extremely frustrated and disappointed. I like to fly Virgin when I can due to comfort but that experience left much to be desired."

In fact, they offer me to buy a brand new ticket at a new price!!!!!! I ended up re-bought the ticket from United airline as my husband has United card (chase) and we ended up paying over 1900 for the ticket that should have been about $911. The priceline number is not helping. I have trip insurance but no. nothing worked. I will never fly Virgin Atlantic again."

Also, I found the cabin to be very cold during the flight, but it was pretty short so I didn't complain."

Dur sur les fesses, le dos, les jambes et le sommeil! Bref, cette classe n’a plus rien de premium!"

Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. Without that tickets we can not claim the bags. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Vérification minutieuse de l'ensemble des poids des bagages à main (qui étaient tous conformes) pour un vol intérieur d'une heure... A l'évidence le service client n'est plus au rendez-vous avec Air France."

The crew was non-existent most of the flight."

From the terminal in DCA to Cincinnati, to CDG. Delta/Air France clearly singled her out. i am outraged! I have traveled many, many times and have sent hundreds of students on nearly the same trip -- and none have had as rough a time as she had. They will be hearing from me."

When the dog rightfully acted defensive trying to protect me, the crew member started threatening me that he would have the dog sent to cargo, the last thing a person with an emotional support pet wants to hear. Extreme lack of professionalism."
