And then we had to board shuttle buses to the plane, which made for an unpleasant boarding experience. Too many carry-on bags onboard meant no space for my bag in my allocated overhead bin. The plane seemed old and the seats were small and cramped. The entertainment systems kept shutting off in the beginning of the flight, and my screen was slightly unresponsive to touch. Not the best flight experience compared with what I'm used to and expect from Turkish."

I was trying to use the restroom on the plane but there was a person in there for a long time; I waited outside patiently and then when I got in I brushed my teeth and used the toilet. It didn’t take me that long but the flight attendant knocked hard on the door but she didn’t do that for me with the other guy. I didn’t feel welcomed at all from the crew honestly."

They were not ready to receive, there was no female screener which required a delay for the ladies to enter the gate area, and the plane was late leaving. Not a crisis, but was entirely avoidable. Also, I suggest avoiding long layovers in the Cairo airport. There are few chairs outside the eating areas."

I checked in online but airline changed our seating without telling us. Egypt Air created this airline only for flights to Tel Aviv, so difficult to find checkin counters. One feels they don’t encourage people to take the flight."

Points positifs : "This was a return flight from Cairo to Washington. I called the Cairo office multiple times to add a pet to my ticket. I couldn't check in online and when I called to ask they said that's because I'm making changes (pet) that's why I can't do it and I should do it at airport.. I'm Cairo airport the check point is as soon as you get thru the main door.. Waited in line for check in only to find that all 4 tickets (me and 3 kids) were cancelled and that we had to go outside again to the reservation office (had to go thru check point again) to reissue the tickets. They didn't even appologize for their mistake and they blamed the travel agency.. Very unprofessional and irresponsible people."

This is the second time this has happened to us in a week. I checked and double checked with the crew to make sure I get my child’s stroller by the plane so I don’t have to carry him on my back to baggage claim and of course they lied about returning my stroller to me to the plane after landing. Extremely disappointed and frustrated. Will avoid traveling through Saudi for as long as possible."

There are not enough seating possibilities so everybody is sitting around on the floor even in front of the gates. In some moments it looked more like a refugee camp then an international transfer airport. Wifi was not available... Disinterested, annoyed and arrogant attitude of airport personal. I will not choose to fly with Saudia again."

Hungry and thirsty after a 6 hour travel to the airport. - no blankets were offered on board - muslim prayer was imposed on all passengers before taking off - headphones very bad quality I will not choose to fly with Saudia again"

Points négatifs : "The terminal in Jeddah was the worst. There weren’t sufficient bathrooms for the number of flights/people passing through and the bathrooms were soaking wet. In addition, it rained and there were leaks in the roof all throughout the terminal. The water was literally pouring in non-stop. I advise anyone to avoid long layovers (or any layover) in Jeddah. The only positive aspect is there are a couple of good (small) coffee shapes and reclaimed chairs that are good for sleeping."

But the female cabin crew who brought me my special was nice after she couldn’t figure out which special meal was mine. The cabin crew overall seemed disorganized. However, a male cabin crew named Munir was nice. I flew on SV 302; CAI-JED."

I am so tired and sleepy but i waited until 11pm cz i need my stuff and i have very important medicines there that i need to take tonight. When i called to check the location of my delivery, the driver just plainly said he will deliver tomorrow. I found this very unprofessional and no care about their customers. You gave your commitment to me to deliver before 12midnight, twice. 3 times including the airport personnel. I expected it tonight. Now u just change your mind and tell me you will deliver it tomorrow? I am working in a different city tomorrow morning and i travel via bus. It is an extreme inconvenience cz i will not be at home when u deliver and no one is left at my flat. Worst airline experience ever. I regret flying with Saudia. This is my first and last. Please just send my luggage urgent. Thank you."

Even being at the gate an hour before departure they declined to take me on the flight due to the fact that I had checked in luggage. After a 16 hour flight from LAX to Jeddah this was horrible to make my layover even longer . Asked for a voucher to use their lounge and they refused..."

Also the pilot have no experience in flying with the plane as the plane vibrates strongly even while mid-air and at constant speed and altitude. The entertainment screen was always lagging and ads are everywhere."
