Points positifs : "I landed SAW airport with another operator. Turkish airlines should have simply waited for me as my reservation with them starts in SAW airport. My previous operator sent my luggage to SAW as final destination, which means i have to cross passport control, collect my luggage and start the check-in process; given the time window between the flights, that was simply impossible. TURKISH AIRLINE's ground staff - transit team of SAW airport - Made it happen! I was requested just to wait, then they confirmed transferring the luggage and gave me respective tags! landed CDG - Paris to find my bag safe and sound :)"

Points négatifs : "I arrived just before the hour an hour before departure for a 6am flight, which is in line with their 60 minute policy to find the counter closed. I spent another 25 minutes running around the airport trying to find someone to assist including a ticket agent to adjust my flight. Only to be told I couldn't get a flight out until the next day and I had to pay more for my original ticket for it. I contacted customer service and their response was a simple copy and paste of the rules which I was well aware of (apparently I should have really been there 90 mins before and not 60 according to the site). I only booked with the airline because it offered an 8 hour layover in Athens...a chance to see a bonus city. There are plenty of other airlines with more flexible and consistent policies. I have traveled the world on many airlines and have never had an early check in counter close or to have to chase down a representative to get service."

Flight attendants could have been courteous by asking them to keep the noise low. My baggage did not arrive for 4 days in Cairo and no one was responding to calls and even went to airport twice . offices were closed during day time . Last day before leaving with the help of a travel agent I was lucky to get my luggage. There was almost a brawl at airport as people were unhappy because their baggage did not come from tel aviv to cairo. Very poor handling of delayed baggage. Not even a call from the airline. Not sure if it was offloaded in Tel Aviv or Athens."

Points négatifs : "With Kayak I booked Tel Aviv to Malta with 1 hour stop in Athens. The first flight was delayed by an hour hence making me lose my second flight. Aegean then booked me on a flight to Catania (Italy) for a different connection to Malta. Only that this Aegean flight was also delayed by an hour making me miss the second connection. Eventually I arrived in Malta 15 hours later than scheduled. Aegean customer service reps were extremely unhelpful and made this 10 times more difficult. I missed a whole vacation day, amassed roaming telephone charges and on top of that missed a reservation for Dinner in the Sky Malta."

At Heathrow it was a bit chaotic as all classes seemed to be mixed up so it was difficult for priority passengers such as disabled to get through everyone crowded up to the desks and the same applied for business class as well. The IFE wasn't too bad but it could be better. Bahrain airport is a mess and the boarding gates seem to be more like corridors with seats in them so it's difficult again when they call for business class passengers as unless you are already at the front you have to try to work your way through. I believe the airport is being rebuilt. If so then things will probably improve. I'm not sure why there needs to be 2 security checks within a few yards of each other when transiting between flights. they don't have this problem in Doha."

Cup holder was good for nothing, i tried to put my soft drink bottle in it and it slipped right out the bottom and when I tried to put a cup of water in it supplied by the crew it wouldn't fit! When I reclined my seat to sleep the passenger behind me pushed my seat hard back to upright position. When I turned around to ask why the rude response I realized that he was a tall fellow and his knees were already touching the back of my seat so when I reclined it, it hurt him and he had no where to move his legs. I couldn't do or say much as I understood his misery and therefore kept my seat up the whole way for 5 hours! The flight was full and neither of us could relocate to another seat."

UGGHHHHHH!! 7. I flew on an Airbus that didn't have plug in for your phones to charge (maybe that's just a Boeing thing)."

Au bout de 2h de négociation nous avons obtenu une chambre d'hotel de 1h du matin à 6h.... pour reprendre le vol suivant à 8h30.... Aucune indemnisation, ni surclassement, as même un code wifi .... COMPAGNIE A EVITER A TOUT PRIS, c'est du LOW COST et le SAV est CATASTROPHIQUE. Etihad didn't load all my luggage due to transfer - so had to stand in line to file a report after a 34 h flight! Very unhappy about that, even though luggage arrived later on same day.. Boarding process was chaotic. Can you get Indians to form a line by zones, as all other airlines do??? Finally, I was cramped into a non reclining window exit row seat even though I had explicitly stated in my Etihad preferences that I preferred aisle. A most uncomfortable journey after a long wait. Almost decided I'll never fly your airline again. Just almost..."

Points négatifs : "Horrible airport - sedated and lost ground staff - uncomfortable reclining seats in the business that is a total turn off if you are connecting from a lie-flat business seat and the worst was the fact that I was confirmed twice by the ground and cabin crew that all my incoming luggage was transferred, only to discover upon arrival in Islamabad that they never made it on the flight as the time was short (no idea why Etihad offers short time connections to other airlines when it knows that the airport infrastructure, the baggage transfer systems and their own crew are simply NOT FIT to handle that. Overall - bad experience!"

Points positifs : "This was a good experience overall other than the fact that my bag did not arrive until 36 hours later but I attribute that more to United since they were the carrier that needed to transfer the bag to Etihad from my prior flight. Food was excellent and so was the entertainment system with the bigger screens even in economy. The seats we had were also good with decent leg room compared to other economy seats with other airlines. One area for improvement could be around just having more presence in Frankfurt airport in terms of a transfer desk in other terminals to help passengers in transit."
