Their customer service for the ticket change and the phone calls made before hand where they promised to hold our tickets, were so disappointing, it was like dealing with any US based airline. Points négatifs : "I am an experienced traveler. I've been to 17 countries and have flown over a million miles in both business and coach. My wife encountered a problem in Istanbul that involved an airport transit visa through Canada. I am certain that any other airline we’ve ever flown would’ve assisted us, since it was easily resolved. To Turkish Airlines, this is simply a part of their business model and a chance to make more money. It took about 8 hours of our time at 5 different airport locations to eventually buy new tickets to get back the next day. Our original tickets say: “REISSUE With 200.00 USD penalty. What I didn’t see was the fine print at the bottom: “Turkish Airlines reserves the right to change rules regarding ticket changes and refunds.”. They mean it. As bad as our personal experience was, the real reason we are so appalled is that we were there long enough to see this is the norm for them. In our single day there, we saw at least 100 other travelers going through similar things. The ONLY solution ever offered is to purchase another ticket. We witnessed several people weeping. Many losing control and shouting. Their own personnel were screaming at customers (in a separate office area though, it was all yucks and laughing). These were people of all nationalities. Africans, Asians, Europeans. We were lucky because we had the means to purchase new tickets. Others clearly didn’t. I really don’t know what happened to some of them. One moment was very symbolic of the entire experience. Another vanquished traveler was paying $843 for a new ticket with cash. He handed her $845 but she, of course, had no change. Instead of the $5, he gave her two $1 bills. I had one in my pocket so gave it to her as well. She held my $1 bill up and pointed to the corner which had a very small piece torn off…no ink was missing…and sneered “I can’t accept this. She did this simply because she could. We were powerless. She knew it and reveled in it."

J’aurais eu la possibilité de rester plus longtemps avec mon mari, que je vais revoir seulement dans 6 mois, avoir su qu’on allait faire un retard."

After going through security scanners again even though we had just gone through other scanners a few minutes ago getting off our last flight into the airport, we went downstairs. They had us wait in a room with no chairs a long time before moving us to an unbearably hot bus for a really long time to wait, the bus only had a few seats for old people, the rest of us stood sweating without moving for at least 25 minutes. At the plane's stairs for boarding they wanted to take large carryon luggage to put below, but this wasn't well understood by most passengers and many people got upset and the staff didn't handle it well so it took a long time waiting to board at the stairs. Once on board it was a problem with people not finding enough space to stow their carryons! I went to the toilet before takeoff, and the toilet was so dirty! Disgusting! They clearly hadn't cleaned it at all. Wet floor, smelly, no toilet paper, debris in the sink, etc... The staff was unprofessional in conflict with 2 passengers arguing over a seat which was only a problem because one flight attendant had promised the 2 passengers to be able to move to that 1 open seat. After being almost 2 hours late for takeoff and going through the chaotic boarding process I can understand why people were short on patience. The food was ok. No in flight entertainment at all on a 4+ hour flight, not even a magazine in the seat pocket. Not a good experience overall."

I don't know why the toilet had not been well cleaned, but in general the airplane was not very clean. I didn't like the food on this flight, on other air Algerie flights food has been better. The flight attendant also ran out of tea before getting to my row, but never came back with more so I wasn't offered tea. I think this was not worth saving a bit of money over a better airline."

I have use your Airlines more than 10 times. I fly internationally frequently and I also use several other International Airlines. Compared to the Airlines I would rank Ukraine Airlines at the bottom. 1) I have never been on one Ukraine airlines that has the ability for a passenger to charge a cellphone or any other electronic device in the seating area oh the plane. Ukraine Airlines might be the only International Airline that does not have this. How can you not have this option for passengers in 2018 when you know people are using laptops and cell phones more than ever? This is unacceptable. 2) there are no television options on the headrest for passengers. Again, I do not know of any other International Airline that is not allow each passenger the ability to watch movies in front of their seats. The movie option for Ukraine Airlines is extremely outdated. 3) when taking the international flight from New York to Kiev, the food option is not good. It is only one Hot meal served. To give passengers a cold sandwich as a first option on an 8hr international flight is acceptable. It appears to me that Ukraine Airlines is 10 or 15 years outdated. I travel to Ukraine often and I do as much as I can to avoid your airline. Also whenever I'm talking to passengers in other airports and even passengers boarding Airlines we all talk the same about your airline. Most people are disappointed with your Airlines but have to use it because scheduling etc."

The space is just OK if it were a domestic or short flight of 3 hours or so, but it should be illegal to put that many people on a flight across the ocean. There are no videos behind your seat so you have to watch what they choose on the few videos hanging from the ceiling. The staff were not very friendly. Plane was not well kept and the plane is old."

They spoke little English and did not attempt to create an orderly queue. Instead, they were helping random people. Given that persons on the delayed flight were losing potential time to catch other flights, it was extremely unprofessional and rude to go about managing the issue in this way. I was quite exasperated and was told to calm down by Pegasus officials. Ultimately, I was delayed for one DAY, and forced to flight out the next night at midnight. If Pegasus had been consistent in managing passengers from a delayed flight, I could potentially have gone on to my final destination without a 24 hour delay."

This lasted until the airport announced the final boarding call for my flight, and people started lining up.Then the staff had to admit that this was the right gate and the plane was just late. We didn't start boarding until way after the announced time (which they didn't bother to update on the screen until it passed. Extraordinarily disorganized. Second, the flight crew was loud and kept the lights turned way up on an overnight flight. Everyone around me was trying to sleep, and they were woken up by the crew yelling "DO YOU WANT COFFEE?" 5 rows away. Even when they finally dimmed the lights 3 hours into the flight, they kept the Tv's on, so the flashing advertisements prevented me from sleeping restfully. Third, you have to pay for coffee and tea. Who does this? They also begin their flight with loud, obnoxious music that jolts everyone awake (see above for this being an overnight flight). Overall, only choose this airline if you're okay with being kept forcibly awake and you don't mind the flight being late. Oh, and you have 2 euros to pay for simple tea."
