My connection was canceled but I was not notified by anyone. I got stranded in Buenos Aires for 2 days. Not a fun way to start my trip."

Points négatifs : "I didn’t like the $233 in airport charges to be able to fly same days than original schedule (fare was originally $500 for a flight that is usually $150). Airline said airfare.com changed ticket with no authorization and ticket had to be reissued or flight dates changed. Airfare.com said it was the airline’s deed and beyond their control. Either way, they both make money out of this, and it was unforeseen for me, even after talking to customer service 12 hours before flight, and confirming all was fine. No one wants to be responsible about this but me and my wallet, then it sounds like a scam with forced payments. —- if kayak allows these type of charges to happen through their partner policy, then I’ll start booking directly with (other) airlines and take the intermediary out forever."

Points négatifs : "Small point, I suppose, but when i’m On a “national champion” carrier like Aerolineas Argentinas, I expect them to put their coubtry’s Best foot forward. Having noticed in their in-flight magazine that the airline had improved its selection of Argentine wines, I asked which ones they had. The flight attendant said they had no wine on board because it was not an international flight. Since we were flying from Rio to Buenos Aires, I said “What?”, or words to that effect. I thought, “This will come as a surprise to both countries.” It reminded me of a TAP transatlantic flight I took last year, which had no Portuguese wines in board, not even Port. Why don’t airlines show more pride in their country’s food and drink?"

We had coffee and a soft drink, twice. We arrived at EZE airport from the US and were happy to take this flight without having to change airports for the domestic flight."

Points négatifs : "We got bumped the day before left due to an airline strike. We only found out it was due to a strike because our excellent customer service by webjet.com. Then as we waited for our next flight, we received another email saying we have been bumped another day on our vacation to Argentina. No indication as to why we were bumped. So we tried everything to get in touch with the airline. They only have one customer service number in North America. We called for 4 hours. They never picked up and the automatic service phone number, which is they same for all kiosks at JFK and the main number and the Canadian office number, kept hanging up on us. Fortunately our booking website, webjet.com had great customer service and got in touch with the airline. They cancelled the flight reservation at no charge due to the strike. Without them our flight would have been pushed by two days. Instead of what we did do which was cancel our reservation and moved to another airline, AAirlines, to a redeye flight. But due to the bumps and last minute purchases my wife and I sat separately on the 11 hr flight, in middle seats, overnight with no room to sleep. Also my refund will take 3 weeks according to Aerolineas Argentinas policy! Do not book with Aerolineas Argentina's!"

Points négatifs : "I was seated in the exit row and stowed my bag securely under the seat in front of me. As we pulled away from the gate, three of the flight staff "accosted" me in Spanish, and told me I had to stow my bag overhead; since the flight was full, there was no room for my bag overhead so the one English speaking flight attendant told me I had to move my bag and me to another seat. He thrust an emergency card- in English- in my face and I was shuffled to a seat across the aisle. Lunch pox contained a sandwich with some kind of meat and cheese. Drinks were room temperature. Several passengers were standing in the aisles when the plane pushed back from the gate and numerous seats were still in recline position when we took off."
Points positifs : "I purchased a ticket for what I believed was a good dead from buenos Aires to bariloche through flight network.com and when I got to the airport the airline claimed they never received the money which ment I could not get on the plane. The airline representative only told me to contact the agency or if I wanted to buy another ticket for almost double the amount I originally payed for. Very useful...After being on hold for a total of two hours which made me miss my flight I gave up and went home after not having slept since it was an early flight and wasted about 30$ (dollars not pesos) on transportation to and from the airport."

Points négatifs : "It seems like there is no simple grasp of what priority luggage means. It means that it should be handled first and that it would come out first on the carousel. This did not happen and caused significant delay in our departure."

For a 4.5 hour long flight, to be served crackers and cookies is just unacceptable. There wasn't even an option to buy food onboard! And with all the airlines that have entertainment onboard, it was disappointing to just stare at the fabric of the seat in front of me."

Points négatifs : "Aerolineas Argentinas cancelled my morning fight the night before without explanation. There was very little information, and I was unable to call a representative because it was off-hours when I got my cancellation notice. When I arrived at the airport, they changed my flight to a much later time departing at a different airport in the city (although they did provide a free shuttle). If I have a choice in the future, I would avoid Aerolineas Argentinas."
