Late departure, no headphones on board (thus no access to movies etc), and while waiting at gate to depart, plane became very hot with no airflow, Electronic ordering system for drinks also was not working And it’s absurd that a 6.5 hour flight has no snacks or food offered. Cheap Branson.

Clean plane, great breakfast options included with the flight. Crew was polished, helpful and genuinely nice! Gate agents at NYC were knowledgeable, organized, and quick. Boarding was a breeze. Impressive selection of movies for onboard entertainment choices.

I thought the $11.00 fee for 30 continuous minutes of full Wi-Fi access was a bit pricey, esp when it kept getting disconnected and ended being about a collective 7-8 mins of access.

Seats were comfortable ... enough. Boarding process, once underway allowed me to get overhead bin and stash my other luggage in the seat below me. Flight wasn't overly booked (85-95%) so there appeared to be room for others to stretch out. Now about that crying kid...

Ugh. Weather delays. The flight was scheduled to board about 7P but it arrived late and they had to not only unload the self-loading cargo, but clean up afterwards. Would be nice to get a better estimate as to how long it would take to board so that I could hang out in the lounge. In addition, departure from JFK was delayed as well, either we missed the IFR window or got stuck behind some traffic and I fell asleep on the plane only to wake up what seemed an hour later just getting ready to hit V1. No upgrade.

The flight crew were absolutely marvelous and were wonderful on board.

British Airways had too tight of connections on flights that we purchased and then they ran late. Because of this, we had to rebook both going to Europe and coming back. Our friends were then charged extra luggage fees when being put on a domestic flight back home after going through customs. It will be difficult for me to want to use British Airways again because of all the flight change notifications we got before traveling and then once we did actual travel.

Of course missed connection in Chicago. Spent night in Chicago and arrived home 48 hours after leaving for Venice airport.

I hate no text alerts for the final return flights. Again this Sucks big time. They don't care enough about having their passengers well being after a long flight. The people in charged with IT should be fired. If you don't care to provide the same level of service as everyone else you should not be in the business.

Kindness all around from gate agent who gave us lovely seats even though my husband caught in morass of pre-holiday TSA line to flight attendant who we saw first hand give superlative care to man traveling with 2 children, one of whom had very high medical needs and required lots of accessible supplies. Comfy seats and great communication just seem to go without saying at Jet Blue.

Total chaos boarding process for completely full and late flight. Then waited 40 minutes when we landed because they had not planned for our landing while we were in the air. Alaska plane was sitting in our gate for the morning so our Virgin flight was blocked. Merger not so smooth.

Crew was fine.

Overall the flight seemed like a very low priorety for the airline. The plane was filthy. In-flight entertainment didn't work. Ideally, they should have told us so we could have bought a magazine or something. It's a long flight. They also ran out of water. Again, it's a long flight. The leg to Hawaii was much nicer.

Virgin )currently) does not offer any food for free even on a cross-country flight - not even a package of pretzels!!! Other airlines I’ve noticed recently have started providing full meals for free. I think it was American and Delta both provided a complementary meals on their cross-country flights (coach service). Also, on Virgin you have to request a cup of coffee or water via your seat TV ( at least on my flight you could not just ask the flight attendant directly). The main coach flight attendant literally ignored these requests.

The colors of the lights

Virgin has its own terminal in JFK (7), so they must have some amount of control over how things run. From the moment we got there, there was nothing but difficulty. Enormously long line (45 min wait). I booked my flight together with my boyfriend and we selected seats next to each other during booking. When we went to check in, they reassigned us to two middle seats. 6.5 hour flight. Then they make you pay for every detail, like WiFi, headsets, no small snacks, only 1 drink for the entire flight, etc. Any one of those things you’d probably have to pay for on other airlines, but together seemed over the top. We then landed and instead of heading to a gate, we sat on the runway for another 20 min. Again, no one of these things is out of the norm, but together made for a pretty miserable trip. Would have been significantly better if they just honored our original seating when we booked.

Crew was friendly and helpful

Plane boarded late for unknown reasons then once hosted left late due to maintenance. Seats were mediocre at best, WiFi was over priced for the length of flight, pretzle bags were incredibly small and beverage options all involved a cup, no small bottles of water even.

My wife and I traveled with bicycles packed in standard boxes and got hit with a whopping $230 charge per bicycle out of the blue. We were expecting no charge because the bicycles were our only check-in baggage for the trip. Couldn't believe the lack of transparency with which we got hit with this charge. Qantas, Air New Zealand, and other airlines we've taken bikes with us on our flights have charged nothing when we traveled in the same fashion. So, if you are a bicyclist traveling with your bicycle, I'd avoid the United-Lufthansa duo.

I purchased a business class seat and did not get a business class seat. In Philadelphia the agent would not give me the available seat because I was not on an upgrade list. He said I would have to call american. I tried several times. (I also called british air and they said they could not help.) Each time i tried American the message said they had high volume call back later. I reported this to BA and have not yet had a response.

I could not pre-check or request different seats on the CP website. I think that this was because of issues with the website, apparently due to IT system communication between American Airlines and Cathay Pacific.......on all six flights. On the transfer in San Francisco, Customs was closed when we arrived in San Francisco and we had to haul all of our baggage from one terminal to the other. There was no direction on how to handle this issue of Customs being closed while on the flight to San Francisco. I had to explain the issue of to the CP customer service crew in SF. The CP desk and they had never heard of it. American Airlines was equally poorly trained. I will also say that while at the CP customer service, there were three young adult males that we're not busy at the time and the watched us unload the baggage carts onto the scales and conveyor and then reloaded on to the carts to push to the AA terminal. We handled the bags two additional times because the CP staff did not know what to do and how to handle it. Other passengers were confused as well.

Considering the price we paid for our tickets is the the only drawback I keep coming back to when I think about the VALUE of what I paid for.the entire flight. The overall experience was good throughout; from the airport on both ends of the journey to the actual inflight experience. I'm not sure how much of an influence the airline has on the airport part of it all, but the check-in process was good. The self check-in machines for AA were a little "buggy" and difficult to navigate but helpful staff was readily available as were the short lines. I am 6'2" and was impressed that I had adequate leg room in my seat.

We paid a lot for our tickets even though they were purchased months in advance. Then when it came to seat selection, there was none. Our party of three, which was husband and wife plus friend, were all seated separately. We could have opted for "pay extra" seating, but even that did not get us together, so we opted out.

Short flight

We waited for an hour for snacks and the snack truck showed up, and we wanted up taking off without snacks. I had slept in the airport all night and was starving.

1. Forced to check carry on because of a pocket in the front when other passengers were allowed to bring actual suitcases which were taken right before boarding. Apparently JetBlue has a quota to meet as to how many people they charge for carry on luggage. 2. Refused to allow me to request my seat ahead of time to try and charge a $50 fee for an upgraded seat, even though by purchasing a ticket, I am guaranteed a seat on the plane. 3. Late once again. So far every flight taken by JetBlue this year has been late. My only on time flight this year has been with Delta. I do believe they are the new Spirit Airlines in disguise. This airline has been moved to the bottom of my list. I may take them once more but it depends on how many points I have with them, if it's enough to cover a free trip. If it doesn't, I will forfeit as the aggravation and nasty behaviour at the check in counter especially at LaGuardia is too much to take. They are also every discriminatory at that airport also, especially the people who work at JetBlue. I have to take responsibility for keep trying. It the same as beating a dead horse and expecting it to get up and run.

Refused to allow me to request my seat ahead of time to try and charge a $50 fee for an upgraded seat, even though by purchasing a ticket, I am guaranteed a seat on the plane. 3. Late once again. So far every flight taken by JetBlue this year has been late. My only on time flight this year has been with Delta. I do believe they are the new Spirit Airlines in disguise. This airline has been moved to the bottom of my list. I may take them once more but it depends on how many points I have with them, if it's enough to cover a free trip. If it doesn't, I will forfeit as the aggravation and nasty behaviour at the check in counter especially at LaGuardia is too much to take. They are also every discriminatory at that airport also, especially the people who work at JetBlue. I have to take responsibility for keep trying. It the same as beating a dead horse and expecting it to get up and run.

Short flight

We waited for an hour for snacks and the snack truck showed up, and we wanted up taking off without snacks. I had slept in the airport all night and was starving.

Entertainment, food, crew, and cleanliness were 100000% on point. Loved it.

Turbulence and the flight was longer than necessary because we had to go around bad weather. Not the fault of JetBlue!

Didn't like the two hour delay, especially when I was notified only a half hour before boarding! This seems to be a normal thing for American Airlines.

First flight TUS to DFW was delayed by 3 hours causeing us to mist all the remaining flights. Had to scramble to find other flights DFW to LHR and LHR to DUB. We arrived at our destination 10 hours. No reason for the delay was given. Lousey service on AA.

I could not pre-check or request different seats on the CP website. I think that this was because of issues with the website, apparently due to IT system communication between American Airlines and Cathay Pacific.......on all six flights. On the transfer in San Francisco, Customs was closed when we arrived in San Francisco and we had to haul all of our baggage from one terminal to the other. There was no direction on how to handle this issue of Customs being closed while on the flight to San Francisco. I had to explain the issue of to the CP customer service crew in SF. The CP desk and they had never heard of it. American Airlines was equally poorly trained. I will also say that while at the CP customer service, there were three young adult males that we're not busy at the time and the watched us unload the baggage carts onto the scales and conveyor and then reloaded on to the carts to push to the AA terminal. We handled the bags two additional times because the CP staff did not know what to do and how to handle it. Other passengers were confused as well.

Delayed flight two hours and didn’t receive a text or email. They had no headphones available. My seat didn’t adjust to lean. Food choices were poor.
