The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

So the few people higher up in the rows had the opportunity... row 15 and lower didn't..."

I had been assigned a window although aisles, my preference, were available. I sought to change seats from window to aisle and would have been charged USD $18 (on a flight within europe - why dollars?). The BA staff said the website would be fine on the return journey - but it was not. I arrnved at teh airport (not having checked in as I didn't want a window) and the BA staff person in 46 at 6:45pm simply said that's impossible to change anything - no apology; she seemed rather irritated to be asked. I then went to security and the machine for priority queue did not permit me to enter - it said 'invalid ticket'. Then the flight was significantly delayed. So all in all not a great day."

When I called in for cancellation at the airline, they told me to talk to my agent company Cheaptickets. Cheaptickets simply told me that I can't get any money back, and was extremely arrogant and impatient. Later (for a week I was trying to save this ticket by talking to the British Embassy to see if I can get the visa done and they are just "we can't help you") they told me that I can get a refund of like 30 SGD and they promised to send me an e-mail about it. They never ever did. I also tried to change the dates and the handling fee + fair difference was like 1200 SGD (are you joking?) they simply told me, prices fluctuate... Finally I went to the check in counter desperate. The staff even refused to talk to me about my situation because simply, "there is no BA ticket office in Singapore" and told me to call them. I said the office is closed, but they are like, yeah just call them. They swept me off like a moron. Extremely arrogant, impatient, insensitive. I paid 900 SGD for nothing and a whole week of anxiety and regret. I will never take this and I will never use Cheaptickets or Kayak anymore. So bad."

Yes, we could have paid extra for more leg room (I am quite tall) but that doesn't seem right (almost akin to discriminating against tall people). Booked the whole flight with BA including a connecting flight with JAL. Couldn't check-in online for the JAL flight and there was no clear information as to whether our baggage would be automatically transferred or whether we would have to collect (as was the case)."

I was also refused ice for my warm coke zero (since they didn't have any to buy I thought I'd ask for some for the one I had bought in the airport). Shocking!"

Outbound to SFO in an Airbus 380 had sparkling wine pre-take off, hot towels twice, this DEN-LHR flight only had juice or water on offer (crew said "don't serve that on this route") no hot towels, crew's objective seemed to be get around cabin in one go and leave Pax to it Breakfast was abysmal, soft-pretzel roll, no juice or water served, just indifferent coffee"

Plane was relatively new and fairly high-tech. Food was good and selection was great. Cabin crew went out of their way to accommodate our requests."
Points négatifs : "The Dreamliner is quite a noisy and warm plane. Also, cabin crew aren't very specific with meals (e.g. chicken or beef rather than chicken with rice or beef with potatoes). Snack between meals chargeable. Some trouble with the on board entertainment system that was resolved early on. Stroller arrived fairly late."

There was only one counter open for normal check in and one for priority when I arrived and after 20min waiting, the priority counter closed completely and there was just one counter open remaining, with just 10-15min before the check in closed. We had to wait another 10min to be able to check in our luggage! On arrival, luggage took 45min to just start delivering, completely wiping out the 30min arrival ahead of schedule."

Entertainment system had a screen from the mobile phone you owned more than a decade ago. Breakfast was a Kellogg's chew bar. Staff onboard were excellent."

Do you think the lights are attracting them? Let's all hide and perhaps they'll go away..." We landed from Edinburgh, taxiid in, and parked. No airbridge - don't be silly! And a 20 minute wait to disembark while they rousted a few idle layabouts out of their fetid pits of sloth to stand around and occasionally wave an arm in a desultory fashion in tne general direction of the shopping centre - sorry, "terminal building". Terminal is the right word. From now on I'm joining ABBA - Anyone But British Airways - not least to avoid Terminal Five..."

My carry on bag had to be stored in the bottom of the aircraft as the overhead lockers in the aircraft are small. As such - just before you board the aircraft, you place your carryon bag at the bottom of the steps and then when you get off at your destination, you collect your carry on bag at the bottom of the steps - no time wasted and worked easily."

Followed by two hours of Iberia staff being surly, not looking me in they eye and doing absolutely nothing about getting me home. I have now been travelling for nearly 30 hours without sleep, am stuck in Madrid with no certainty of when or how I will get home or see my luggage again, and am seriously seriously pissed off. I do accept that things can sometimes go wrong and that it is nobody’s fault. This is definitely somebody’s fault."

Eventually I found a desk at a different location that would take my bag. Boarding was chaotic, no lines, just a crowd blocking access. Even passengers with small children couldn't get through. Space between seats was minimal. Crew was ordering passengers to take headphones off during security demo. I understand it is important to be attentive, but ultimately you shouldn't be forced to."

The new entertainment screens kept coming on, and I kept turning them off as I wished to sleep. Then, Iberia check-in had to send me to last minute clerk or I would have missed my flight. Last minute check-in ended up being the same place and same clerk I began with."
Points négatifs : "A porter checked our bags at the gate without asking us whether we were traveling beyond London, so the bags were never transferred to the transatlantic flight nor did they arrive in SF. It wasn't necessary to check them because there was plenty of room in the overhead bins when we got on the flight. We immediately asked a flight attendant to help when I realized they might not go through and he said he spoke to someone who caught and tagged the bags to go through, but it still didn't happen. It would have been easier if he had just brought them to us on the plane. Another women's bag was taken with all her baby supplies and bottles in it for a 16-hour travel day. Very frustrating for all of us."

The flight boarding was completely unorganized. They shuttled 3 bus loads of people to the plane and had everyone board on either end of the plane, making it so people had to scoot past each other both ways to get to their seats creating a traffic jam. The biggest insult was they don’t even provide water unless you pay for it. All the food and drink must be paid for. Not only that they have a magazine for items you can buy while flying with them. It felt so commercialized and like a complete rip off. I will never fly with easy jet again. Oh and I forgot to mention, the plane was dirty when we loaded. There was a dirty tissue under my seat and trash in then compartment in front of me."

Split airport process of bag drop then security then passport control did lead to repeated queueing though not for a huge amount of time. Suggests the systems are not quite as high tech as other airports. No entertainment applicable to this flight."

The plane was late arriving and the crew blamed the ground staff. The ground staff were certainly slow coming to the plane at Stansted. I wonder if they are disenchanted with Ryanair too. We will actively avoid Ryanair where possible, and advise others to do so."
