Approximately every 7-10 minutes, crew members would be running back and forth next to my seat with heavy foot steps, which would wake me up. I also noticed that certain crew members were shouting at passengers to get their attention instead of lowering themselves to be heard. One flight attendant almost spilled orange juice on me because she turned around too fast trying to serve drinks. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed, or if it was the influence of a certain crew boss, but something was definitely wrong."

My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

All he said at that time was "sorry for the delay,";no explanation. The flight attendance kept saying 20 mins. The captain locked the crew door so the crew also had no idea what was going on. The 6+hour delay wasn't the problem. Things happen. The problem was the non existing communication. I read the the regulations for delays like that on their website and it stated that after 4 hours they have to give us the option to get off the plane. That didn't happen until 30 mins before we took off. It also stated that the captain needs to keep us updated every 30 mins. That again, didn't happen. People were hysterical, for obvious reasons. Ithe was the worst flight I have ever taken."

This is a perfectly OK airline for the price. You get what you pay for, in a way. But if anything drifts from the original plan, you're screwed. On Thurs Jan 4 we were diverted to Chicago due to bad weather. CSA has ZERO ground presence at Ohare. They gave us poorly-worded, vague instructions while still on board the aircraft for how to proceed once we disembarked-- and then their crew went off to hotels and rested, while most of the passengers stood stranded and confused in the airport terminal with NO assistance whatsoever. We were NEVER formally told when to reboard, or when our flight might take off again for JFK. We were NEVER told what kind of arrangements would be available for passengers to rest and recover-- and we landed around midnight, mind you. Passengers shared info with one another that they gleaned from 3rd party websites-- we all helped each other out, because CSA was useless. I recognize that it was an unusual situation due to extreme weather but it was indicative of the kind of customer service one can expect. Which is, not much."

Spending the night in the GZ airport on your way to Phnom Phen is not recommended. . . We did that and the GZ airport has windows open to the outside so it's freezing inside."

Points négatifs : "In the fine print is the fact that the flight includes a stop in Shenzen. On the outbound flight this was a nightmare experience with Chinese immigration. Exhausted from a 14 hour flight, passengers had their passports taken away; were put through a bizarre 45 minute finger printing process using machines that did not work; and then left to wait for an hour or more with no information. The continuation flight was in another part of the airport - a very long walk; and it turned out not to be at the departing gate that was displayed on the monitors. We arrived at the indicated (wrong) gate with no guidance. Very nearly missed the continuation flight. Once in Xiamen, our arrival was late enough that the second floor of the airport was closed. There were no ATMs on the first floor; no way to get the Chinese cash needed to take a taxi to the airport. Fortunately a kind citizen agreed to exchange some cash, using mental calculations and sign language about the exchange rate."
