We were told that it was just a half an hour delay by the man that was informing us of the delay and then we were then told by a woman that it was going to be over an hour. We weren’t told any specifics of why the plane was delayed, other than: “ the engineers are looking at the issue now”. We received messages saying that the flight was cancelled but then we were told to ignore that. We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

Only to be told at the departure time that there was a problem with the baggage hold and we were delayed. In total 50 minutes late leaving. Breakfast a simple brioche with nothing to add to it."

Had to then wait in the boarding tunnel as the cabin was not ready. large queue Seats were exactly the same as economy so offered no added benefits apart from the meal on board parked in a distant area of the terminal and had to shuttle bus to 2E which meant a very tight transfer"

I was moved to SAA in the end after a truly traumatic time in Johannesburg. This is not the first time I have suffered at the hands of Air France sadly. Needless to say, I wont be booking with Air France again."

They took off the little basket space from the seat in front of you so you have nowhere to put away your stuff which is very annoying. You have ton pay for everything on board, absolutely nothing is free and it's ridiculously expensive."

They got the planes at the wrong gates so our flights were delayed for and hour, a passenger being sick very close to us was not moved away into a quieter area of the plane. Our luggage was damaged when we picked it up."

Just had blobs of people crowding around counters with no indication of which one to got to if you needed to check in, print a ticket, or check a bag. No one was available to answer questions about which counter to go to, and when you finally waited and got to a counter, the attendants were very dismissive and rude."

When I walked onto the plane, I found a fellow passenger peacefully sipping her airport-bought brew with no sign of reprimand from the Ryanair staff. I only ask that the rules be applied to everybody or not at all."

The slowest part was airport security, allow extra 20 minutes at least to get through. Did priority boarding so we didn't queue to board and sat together and had room for our bags (some ended up at feet or in hold)"

Points négatifs : "Stanstead was terrible. We were there 150 minutes before flight. But only just got on flight. I would advise being there 4 hours before flight... Huge Q for bag drop. Why not more Ryanair desks open. Security checks hugely inefficient and unfriendly. Biggest shopping mall in any airport I have seen that you are forced to walk thru. Corridors to gates were like a cattle stampede. Will avoid Stanstead in future. Even car parking and shuttle takes nearly an hour."

Points négatifs : "The check in crew forced me to check a bag that I was able to put under my seat on a previous Ryan air flight two days before this trip. They would not even let me talk to cabin crew to see if there was room. I eventually took out all my valuable belongings and brought them with me onto the plane. After having a very rude interaction with two different people. One even said "don't tell me how to do my job." Then when I got on the plane there was plenty of room for my backpack. The floor was incredibly dirty with chips on all over the ground. We then sat on the tarmac for half an hour. I could not believe how rude the check in crew was, they would not even listen to me explain that I had put the exact same backpack under my seat two days ago. Completely absurd."

Points négatifs : "6 hour delay. 5 euro voucher - that could only buy water. But worse than that was the staff on board. Their rudeness was beyond belief. They: - Stood next to me and bitched about their job and people on board the flight - Laughed about a girl in front of me and her weight - Yelled at me for having my laptop open at the start of our decent (rather than ask me to close it) - Did not apologies once for the delay (which meant I missed a family members birthday) A formal complaint will be written."

Points négatifs : "They took my cabin luggage to the cargo even though it is the right size due to no more space in over head compartment and I believe if they where strict about the size with the All Pax and only allowed one price each in the hand the compartments would have been sufficient. You need to make sure to ask pax to be at check in desk 2 hrs before dept during peak periods due to security takes longer time make the story short I was happy with the above all standards Abdullah Benafif."

Points négatifs : "No legroom, seats are cramped. £100 for 1x 20kg bag and £56 to reserve 2 seats. £2 payment charge in order for me to give them money... No entertainment Delayed inexplicably for an hour on the taxiway - no reason given. There aren't even seat-back pockets. Truly awful flight."

When I called and enquiried about this I was told that I would have to pay to move the seats even though there were 4 seats available next to my boyfriends allocated seat. This is ridiculous seeing as it was not a separate booking and there were plenty of seats available! On the way back my boyfriend was charged 50 euros for a bag which the flight attendant deemed as oversized even though on the way there it was perfectly fine. Her reasoning was that it would have to be put under the plane... When walking to the plane we saw that most people were asked to leave their hand luggage on the tarmac to be put "under the plane" without being charged so essentially we were ripped off yet again!"

Points négatifs : "The employees were just as unhelpful flying to dublin as they were flying out of dublin. Simple questions were met with disdain and annoyance rather than polite answers. We went through 3 different people before finding out that we didn't need to go through any of them which the first person could have told us. By the way the first person was a customer service attendant and he swiftly moved us on to the next line to stand in which was completely unnecessary and a waste of everyone's time. I will never fly with ryanair again."

Also the line for checking in was long, and there was no sigh to let me know that I needed to check in even though I already had a boarding pass."

Points négatifs : "I paid extra for priority boarding and, though I was one of the first 20 passengers on board, I was not allowed to put my bag in the overheard compartment. I was told to put both my purse (not a tiny one, mind you) and my carry on bag under the seat. And, because I had an isle seat, the space was smaller than average. So I had to fly cramped up. Because I'm not an EU citizen, I had to queue up as if to check in luggage to have a stamp placed on my boarding pass. Then another queue to board the plane because they don't bother to call by row or group number like most airlines. The boarding was chaotic. The seats are very uncomfortable. They don't even give you one small cup of water. You have to pay 3 euros for a bottle of water that would cost you 1 elsewhere. Finally, the landing was very hard and shook everyone about."

It turned out that we would not have had to wait in line since we did not have to check baggage. I don't know why they need to check papers there since we already had our boarding passes."

This is completely unacceptable and wasn't acknowledged by airport staff for over an hour, with no explanation given at any point."

At least 6 passengers left standing outside the bus for a good 10 minutes with indecisive ground crew pacing, staring and disappearing with no solution until a senior member arrived and squeezed people into the driver's cabin. Seat space is pretty tight. Not the most comfortable. Not a fan of trekking to Stanstead but it was earliest flight so no option but Ryanair"
