Oman a restreint l'entrée de tous les voyageurs à l'exception des citoyens et résidents omanais, qui doivent avoir une autorisation préalable avant de retourner dans le pays. Les résidents d'Oman doivent contacter l'ambassade d'Oman la plus proche pour obtenir des conseils. Leurs parrains peuvent également envoyer un e-mail au ministère des Affaires étrangères d'Oman à consular@mofa.gov.om.
Les ressortissants de Bahreïn, du Koweït, d'Oman, du Qatar, d'Arabie saoudite et des Émirats arabes unis sont autorisés à entrer à Oman en présentant leur passeport.
Les voyageurs ayant séjourné au Brésil, en Éthiopie, au Ghana, en Guinée, au Liban, au Nigéria, en Sierra Leone, en Afrique du Sud, au Soudan ou en Tanzanie durant les 14 derniers jours, ne sont pas autorisés et ce jusqu'au 12 mars.
Toutes les autorisations de retour à Oman sont soumises à l’approbation du gouvernement d’Oman. Lors de l'enregistrement à l'aéroport, les résidents retournant à Oman doivent présenter soit une preuve de leur hébergement (comme un contrat de location), soit une lettre de leur parrain confirmant qu'ils ont un logement.
À compter du 29 mars 2021, tous les voyageurs qui arrivent à Oman doivent réserver un logement dans des hôtels ou établissements dédiés à l'isolement via la plateforme (Sahala) « ici ». Tous les passagers doivent confirmer leur réservation avant l'enregistrement à l'aéroport afin de pouvoir embarquer.
Exigences d'entrée
Les voyageurs doivent avoir un visa valide avant de voyager. Les visas ne peuvent actuellement pas être délivrés à l'arrivée.
Tous les voyageurs arrivant à Oman doivent avoir un certificat médical avec un résultat de test COVID-19 PCR négatif délivré dans les 72 heures avant l'arrivée.
Tous les voyageurs entrants de plus de 15 ans en provenance de n'importe quel pays devront se soumettre à un autre test PCR COVID-19 à l'arrivée, doivent pré-réserver le test PCR via https://covid19.emushrif.om/traveler/travel et payer 25 OMR pour les frais de test.
Les voyageurs doivent remplir un « Formulaire d'inscription des voyageurs » et doivent se présenter avant l'embarquement.
Les voyageurs doivent télécharger l'application Tarassud + avant l'arrivée.
Tous les ressortissants étrangers doivent avoir une assurance maladie valide.
À leur arrivée à Oman, les voyageurs subiront un contrôle de température. Ceux qui présentent des symptômes de coronavirus peuvent être envoyés dans un centre de test et/ou une installation de quarantaine.
Exigences spécifiques de quarantaine
Tous les voyageurs sont soumis à une quarantaine de 7 jours à leur arrivée. L'isolement sanitaire institutionnel obligatoire pour tous les voyageurs arrivant au pays est obligatoire et à leurs propres frais. L'isolement dans une maison privée n'est plus une option et ce jusqu'à nouvel ordre.
Les voyageurs entrants peuvent recevoir un bracelet de suivi à porter pendant toute la durée de leur auto-isolation et un formulaire de localisation de passagers à remplir. Ils peuvent être invités à télécharger l'application Hmushrif s'ils restent plus de 7 jours.
Le bracelet coûte de 6 riyals omanais (également payable via l'application Tarassud +). Les bracelets doivent être rendus une fois que vous avez terminé votre auto-isolement. Les voyageurs, quel que soit le résultat du test PCR effectué à l'aéroport, doivent continuer à s'auto-isoler jusqu'au jour 7 de l'auto-isolement. Le jour 8 après leur arrivée, ils doivent effectuer un autre test PCR. Si le résultat est négatif, ils peuvent faire retirer leur bracelet de suivi et mettre fin à leur auto-isolement.
Les enfants de moins de 15 ans sont exemptés du test PCR et des exigences relatives au bracelet Tarrasud +.
Les voyageurs arrivant à Oman pour une période inférieure à 7 jours ne sont plus exemptés des exigences d'isolement.
Ce 25 mars 2021, le Comité Suprême du Sultanat d'Oman a décidé d'instaurer un confinement nocturne pendant deux semaines, de 20h à 5h du matin à compter du dimanche 28 mars et jusqu'au jeudi 8 avril.

Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."
