After 2 hrs of "working" with the airline, we were able to fly into Madrid the following day. Had to spend extra money for hotel room and car rental in Madrid because our final destination was Sevilla. Will never work with Azores or Kayak again. BTW, did we mention that while "working" with Azores to reschedule flight, we were booked to fly into an island off of Africa. Luckily, we followed up online with the changed itinerary."

Points négatifs : "The overall travel plan as developed for the TAP flight from Boston to Lisbon with a commuter flight change over in Lisbon to Valencia does not leave ample time to go through customs in Lisbon and allow for commuter boarding at the lower level gates as well. The time allocated was 1 hour and 15 minutes. The scenario played out az follows: TAP left Boston 30 minutes later than scheduled. This delay made it impossible to get through customs and be on board the commuter flight 15 minutes before departure. Bear in mind, on the commuter flights your also lose time by having to be bussed out to the aircraft. We and several others missed our flight to Valencia. TAP placed us on a flight to Bilbao that was scheduled to leave approximately 6 hours later. We then were placed on an Iberia flight from Bilbao to Valencia. Only 1 piece of luggage made it to Valencia. The other 2 pieces of luggage were left behind in Lisbon. It was apparent that even all of the luggage failed to be loaded on the TAP commuter flight for Valencia. We arrived in Valencia approximately 12 hours later than scheduled with only one piece of luggage. We returned to the airport the following afternoon given that our remaining two bags were to arrive after 3:30 PM. The real disappointment here is on our return flight from Valencia to Lisbon, they have cut down the transfer time down from 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 5 minutes!! What are they thinking?? If we do not connect in time i.e., our flight leaves late from Valencia, we will obviously arrive late in Lisbon and miss our connection to Boston. Thereafter we will miss our scheduled transport ride back home to Rhode Island. I very much doubt that I will use TAP ever again as a carrier to Europe."

I would have thought that they would offer me seating in business class as they saw me sitting uncomfortably in Economy. Never mind they were quite attentive!.. Feet are still swollen but less to date!"

I contacted via Facebook and email and basically just got the response of I have to wait until it arrives at the airport and the best advice they could give was to call the Seville airport. I mentioned multiple times in my email and message that I did not have phone service. I showed up to the airport everyday to see if it made it in finally it did on day 3. It wasn’t until 5 days later that they even contacted me to say it had arrived but I had already picked it up. Very disappointing."

This is likely because airline only has Kiwi contact info and never reached to us. Kiwi also didn’t inform us. We were stuck at airport for 6 hours trying to contact airline. Phone can’t be reached. We talked ied WhatsApp Facebook tweeter. All takes like one hour to get response. In the end flights can’t be rescheduled we had to book new flights ourselves and find hotel to stay. They won’t cover for hotel either. The flights refund is now funded to Kiwi which we also need to find time to argue with Kiwi to get back. DOnt know how long that may take. The overall experience has been terrible"

Calling them didn't help as the call center has no ability to change anything on your booking. At the kiosk they charged us double to check our bags because that's just how that works, even though their website ate our credit card information and didn't give us an ability to pay for luggage before check in online. The whole experience has made me decide to never use them ever again."

Kayak told me the delayed departure time long before the airport display or information counter personnel. Long boarding - had to be bussed out on the tarmac and waited again to board inside cramped bus. At Rome, luggage took one hour to arrive on the very crowded belt. Terrible treatment."

When I got to the airport in Paris, I was told i don't not purchase a ticket with baggage. Which, was incorrect because, I sat on the phone in Italy BEFORE I EVEN MADE IT TO PARIS TO BOARD MY LISBON FLIGHT, and worked out payment with customer service. Due to the fact that there were six pending flights on my credit card. And to top it all off once I was able to check in at the Paris airport, your customer service staff and ticketing staff there, treated me with such disrespect, condescending attitudes, and would not answer any of my questions but told me it was not their problem and I need to work it out with someone else. I then had to repurchase my bags and when I asked to speak to a manager, the ticketing counter said they did not have one and then directed me to the customer service counter. There I was told that they did not work for the vueling company and my issue could not be handled by them. I will never fly this airline again and will advise everyone I know to do the same."

Nous sommes donc descendu pour se retrouver parquer, et j'insiste sur le terme, dans un hall où les passagers des 6 vols suivants prenaient déjà toute la place. Nous nous sommes donc retrouvés englouti sous une masse de passagers sans savoir si nous devions attendre ou se réorganiser. Nous avons passé 1h30 à attendre debout dans un hall où la climatisation ne pouvait plus refroidir au vue du nombre de passagers. Passagers collés les uns aux autres tellement il n'y avait plus de place. Dans ces passagers : des enfants en bas âge, des personnes âgées, des femmes enceintes. 1h30 à 38•C sans Air puisque toutes les portes fermées. Le calvaire a continué dans l'avion où le personnel de la compagnie Ryanair ne s'est pas excusé et ne nous a jamais proposé un seul verre d'eau durant ces deux heures de retard. Ils ont préféré proposer des bouteilles de 50cl à 5euros. Aucune facilité pour personne, aucune aide, aucun service. Une prise en charge médiocre malgré des passagers on ne peut plus patients. PS : et pour couronner le tout, un décollage et un atterrissage des moins qualitatifs que nous avons pu vivre."

When checking in, you need to print or download boarding pass or pay a fee when arriving at airport. You must pay for a checked bag before arrival to airport or (you guessed it) pay a fee. We were fortunate to avoid all fees except for the checked bag fee (a convenience fee on top of the price to check a bag). Ryanair's emails provided no link or instructions to check a bag. Also, springing all this information on us two days before travel was sketchy at best. My guess is a healthy percentage of customers use Ryanair for flights in the middle of a vacation and investigating these details are the last thing on travelers' minds. Ryanair knows exactly what they're doing revealing the info when they do."

Two days before my flight while I'm on vacation, Ryanair sends me an email saying that I must check in online or I will be charged 45 Euro per passenger. This was really inconvenient because who wants to be online while on their vacation? But nonetheless, I did it. Their website sucked so I had to get chat customer assistance. Whenever I made any progress their website would keep sending me back to the beginning of the process. I tried for two days. Finally the day before the flight I was able to complete it and I was charged for my baggage and fast track option for each of us. There were three of us. They sent me email confirmation showing that they charged my credit card for the luggage and the fast track option. Together this came out to about 107 Euro. So I thought ok but at least I checked in and I will be fast tracked because I was charged for it and paid. To my surprise when we get to the airport the customer service people said that I only paid for luggage but did not "check in." I asked how could that possibly be since I had been charged and paid and they said that if I didn't pay the 45 Euro each right there, I couldn't get on the flight. I had no choice but to pay another 135 Euro so I could make my flight. Disgusting scammers."
