When I had trouble connecting to the Wifi, one attendant even knelt down and connected my phone manually as I was not tech savvy in this regard. The food was of much higher quality as well compared to other airlines I traveled with on this trip."

Just a security guy saying “take sky train “. We had plenty of time so it was more annoying than anything. So we arrive at the gate and the are having a party to inaugurate the new gate and terminal. I’m glad they celebrated. Haha. Got to laugh. The big crowd at the celebration were passengers who were delayed bordering so they could have a celebration. Part of the adventure."

The color scheme didn’t hurt either. The FA’s were very accommodating and so pleasant."

After that meal service he offered everyone coffee except us."

Points positifs : "I'm so happy to be able to travel with my small dog in cabin. I've travelled from Miami to Helsinki and back with a dog at least 30 times in the last 16 years. The service has always been very good. I choose the airline always based on what's best for my dog."

Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."

Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."

( The pizza was good the muffin was processed gross. ) I didn't eat all the items and still felt yucky from poor nutrition. A piece of fruit in place of muffin, dessert, crackers would help a lot."

Even though there were only 13 empty seats, they made an effort to find us a place with an empty seat between us."
Points négatifs : "We were stopped and grilled by AA personnel as if we were potential terrorists, even though we had TSA Pre-check clearly listed on our boarding cards. flight was 1 hr delayed boarding. Since the plane was a 747 and there were stronger than average headwinds, we had to stop in Bangot to refuel. Net result: 2 3/4 hr late arrival."

Because I purchased it through Kayak instead of directly through Finnair or American Airlines, their 'hands were tied' and they could not reroute nor reschedule me. Not only that, but because I was not on the flight to Paris, my returning flights were automatically cancelled. While this is probably included in the fine print etc., I find it ridiculous. There should be a better alternative for people who miss their flights than forcing them to pay a lump sum that is higher than the original ticket price in order to reschedule their ticket. Moral of the story: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY THROUGH KAYAK OR SIMILAR AGENCIES, BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS."

Can you guess what the plane smelled like by the time we landed? Let's discuss the fact that passengers had to be "shuttled" to the plane because of construction. I paid additional for Group 1 boarding, so great I got to get on the shuttle first. Those that came after me also were the last to board the shuttle and the first to get on the plane. Thanks, American, for showing me again why I use you as a last resort. Had I known it was American and NOT Finnair, as I purchased it, I would have re-thought my purchase."

I found it absurd but read reviews that if you don't select seats you might get bumped off your flight if it's oversold. I didn't take any chances so I paid the additional $29 and yet both my fiancee and I sat way apart. Arriving at the airport to check in, I saw options to select seats which made me upset even though there was nothing next to each other but way more options than online."

This itineray had to be cancelled as the connection time in Paris was only 55 min which is below the 90 min required by Paris airport. Nether Chat deal/Kayak, nor Gulf air nor American Air picked on that. I called American Air for unrelated question was then told that boarding would be denied due to the short connection time. This should have been an automatic notification from Chat deal/ Kayak or Gulf air and itinery cancelled. What is the point of inconveniencing the passenger?? The return has still not be refunded. Shame on Gulf Air, very poor customer service for an airline that has so good flight crew!

Few people on the plane - Was great! The plane was late to board and over an hour late to arrive. They said it was airport control. How can these things not be booked it advance? Very frustrating!

The crew on the check in counter refused to issue me a ticket and insisted that I have missed my plane abd I need to purchase a new ticket. They even refused to check if I have made an online chick in. The gulf air online system, did not show me that I have made an online checkin. Unfortunately, the problem was solved by asking someone who work in the airport ( not gulf airlines representative) to check if I have made and online check in and to issue me a ticket to pass through the security control"

When I turned around to ask why the rude response I realized that he was a tall fellow and his knees were already touching the back of my seat so when I reclined it, it hurt him and he had no where to move his legs. I couldn't do or say much as I understood his misery and therefore kept my seat up the whole way for 5 hours! The flight was full and neither of us could relocate to another seat."

I politely said no and asked them to find me something else, and they did--so that was good. But the suggested alternative for a 7 hour delay was absolutely ridiculous. Also, the 7 hour delay was never explained and no other flights were delayed, so I guess it was something wrong with the plane?"

Transferring to this flight as a NIGHTMARE. The boarding gate was a long way from the arrival gate. Went through an endless maze. Went through two security check points. At both check points I was sent for pat down. At the first there were five other women who were waiting for pat down. All white women. Discrimination???? At the second security, I had not even passed through the detector and the officer was waving me to get a pat down. At that point I started laughing. Next automated preclearance for immigration, then had to wait in line to talk to immigration officer. It is a miracle that I made it to the flight on time. Passport and boarding pass checked minimum of 6 times in this process. On arrival in Los Angeles, there was a bus ride to the terminal for luggage pick up. My husband was at the terminal I normally come to, I had no way to contact him (Indian sim), no change for pay phone. A fellow passenger was merciful and let me use her phone send husband messages and eventually we met up. I would not use Eithad for India to USA for this reason only. The security and immigration preclearance sucks."

In general the planes are good, but the smaller older ones are not that comfortable. The older 777 configuration is very uncomfortable, comparing to the 787. When you need to slitly recline, there is no need for the whole chair to come forward in attempt to creat a bed for you. These are little things that need to be addressed when purchasing planes."

Nobody from the ground staff even asked them to give way for those who are boarding first or announced what zone are they boarding next. Also, i used the mobile app to check in, i am definitely sure i chose an isle seat (you can see it on the seat map during online check in) but i was surprised to see that i got a window seat."

COMPAGNIE A EVITER A TOUT PRIS, c'est du LOW COST et le SAV est CATASTROPHIQUE. Devrait même être interdite de vol depuis PARIS."
