Points négatifs : "The only food I ate all day were the two meals on Hong Kong airlines flights. On the flight from HK to BKK we were served a hot meal of Beef, rice and vegetables. At the time the vegetables tasted a little starnge but I was very hungry so I finished the meal. After arriving at my Bangkok hotel I started to feel unwell and by the evening I was repeatedly vomiting."

For a 13 hour flight, it was hard for me to not have a water bottle available. I asked if I could buy one one the plane because I was on the tail end of a cold with a cough that would be triggered by a tickle in my throat. They gave me a glass of water which was nice but not helpful when it was 3am and I started coughing. Not anyone’s fault, but they need to rethink that if they are going to make everyone dump their water at the gate right before they are boarding."

Points négatifs : "-HKG Ground crews need more training, they stood there just to direct pax to queue up to the departure gate, there was no announcement for which zone to board first, this defeat the purpose to smooth boarding. -Bathroom hand sinks drainage system do have issues, please check, lots of time, paddle of water stayed in the sink. -Warm coffee served, it should be hot. Reason could be hot beverages stowed in a non insulated container. -No napkin provided for the mid-flight snacks, it is tacky to take out the pizza from the box while the melted cheese was stuck to the box. -A beverage cart stowed at the back galley is a good idea, but cabin attendants should be more active to walk around once a while instead of sitting at the galley. I should not state these comments for the price of my ticket, but it might help for improvements. Above is my observations, it is not meant to criticize the Airlines, I hope Hong Kong Airlines could improve and be competitive to other carriers."

While waiting at Hong Kong airport It took a very long time for them to finally announce the correct gate for boarding. Then it was a mad dash to the appropriate gate. Upon arriving at the gate, there was another long wait and then the gate number was changed. No one came to inform the waiting passengers of the new gate information. Very disorganized and confusing. The plane was very cramped and felt old. It still uses the two prong head phone adapter. Why anyone still uses these is a mystery to me."

The delaying problem of flights from HK persists and is damaging HKG's reputation as one of the world's best international airport. What a shame."

It seemed like every time there was an issue all the staff would stop what they were doing to see what the issue was. nearly missed my scheduled boarding time. Good thing our flight was delayed by almost 2 hours. guess I can't complain too much for a budget airline. Just sucks that bag checkin and delays took longer than our actual flight."

Points négatifs : "Our flight was cancelled because of weather condition while we were at the boarding gate, they didn't care about compensations or consider not risking putting the passengers under last minute pressure, at least they should've notified us ahead of time, they automatically rolled us in the next flight, however, they didn't confirm if the next flight will be cancelled or not. In order to make sure I can catch my connecting flights, I booked another flight from Legazpi to Manila on a different airline, in addition, I had to pay the hotel booking cancellation fees in Manila, since these fees can only be waved if I cancelled 24hrs in advance. Moreover when I asked for my ticket refund, they made a big deal out of it and after a ruff struggle they agreed to refund me, but whatever the refund amount was, it barely covers anything of what I had to pay for a new ticket+ 1 extra night stay in Legazpi + hotel cancellation fees in Manila, I ended up paying 400USD in total while I only got around 50USD ticket refund from them, and of course, add to that the stress and hassle I went through in doing this!"

Points positifs : "For the price we paid, the flight was to be expected. A bit of a tight squeeze in tbe rows, but it was a short 2 hour flight so not the worst thing. Boarding and arriving were both a smooth process."

There was a long line of people going to various places with various issues and they only staffed the service desk with one person. Consitently that person has always been rude and non emotional. JetStar either needs to replace those staff are double if not triple the help at the service desk."

Points négatifs : "Their 7kg TOTAL allowance for bags is RIDICULOUS. Only airline I have traveled with that enforces this so unfairly on a flight that wasn't even as low cost as they advertised. Not even the cheapest european airlines like Ryanair or the asian ones like Airasia become so pushy on this. I was forced to pay $40 for a carry on bag because of an annoying security officer who didn't even worked for Jetstar while I was going through security. What's the security risk there? On top of that to my surprise I saw people on my flight carrying 2 or more bags with evident overweight according to this unfair policy. So the rule is random and note applied evenly. Be careful if flying with them. Besides, the aircraft was cheap, uncomfortable and unpleasant."
