The sweets served just before landing is an excellent idea and something that we do need due to our ears, so this was appreciated. staff were attentive and pleasant."

And then someone started smoking on the flight and the attendants had to announce again that smoking wasnt allowed. On and off throughout the flight it smelled like someone was smoking so I wonder if it was even coming from the cockpit."

Le staff m'a dit qu'il fallait appeler la compagnie auparavant, comment le deviner ? De plus, le petit dejeuner était composé de un ridicule sandwich jambon fromage. J'ai demandé pour changer et dit que du jambon au petit déjeuner n'était pas nécessaire mais on m'a répondu avec insolence que c'était un petit déjeuner "normal"! Le service avant même l'embarquement était médiocre et désagréable. A bord, le staff parlaient quasiment exclusivement en espagnol alors que le vol venait du Brésil. A bord, on nous informe sur pour pouvoir regarder des films, il faut télécharger une application car il n'y a pas d'écran disponible. Une fois a bord les réseaux ne fonctionnent généralement pas! Alors le staff propose un iPad a 10€ ?? C'est une action plus que malhonnête!! Informez vos clients à l'avance."

We got though security ok and got into the line for Gate 12. It was more like a scrum tan a line. Nobod seemed to be doing anything when all at once we saw people boarding. We went to the gate but were told that our flight was boarding at Gate 10!!! WTF??? Gate 12 listed our flight number and Gate 10 listed another flight, but we did as were told and boarded via Gate 10. None of other passengers knew what the hell was going on but we all made it to Rome along with our baggage. We will NEVER fly Alitalia again."

This time it wasn't automatically changed, and there was no warning, the only solution they were giving us was an afternoon flight the other day, shortening our weekend getaway even more. After half an hour of discussion, they found and earlier flight, with connection, double the time, but that would get us there at around 2pm, so still we were missing almost half a day, but that was the best they could do. The flight was OK, boarding was late, but hey, that seems to always be the experience with this type of flights. I would just say they are not very reliable, having both your outbound and inbound flights cancelled, seems to much, specially if you're just going for a short getaway, you may end up having a one-day getaway!"
