Points positifs : Premium Economy was comfortable and separate from the main cabin. Bulkhead seats had a lot of space. The crew was very friendly and accommodating.
Points négatifs : Flight was a bit warm, even with full air vents on. The snack was very good, but I thought it would be more of a dinner/meal.

Points négatifs : The staff at the Mumbai Airport dealing with Vistara Airline has absolutely no idea how to do their checks for documents. I was asked to wait for almost an hour and a half to get my documents cleared for my travel to dubai. After all that wait I was asked to sign an Indemnity form stating that I'll be responsible for any penalties whatsoever from Dubai Immigration if denied entry in dubai. The staff don't even know the rules and have behaved so dumb while dealing with passenger and have zero knowledge about document checks. Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station.

Points positifs : Boarding and crew were good. Food and tea was manageable. WAY be better than India airlines.
Points négatifs : Tiniest seats in the world. I travel a lot for work and these are the narrowest, tiniest seats. All Indian airlines are super cheap and low quality--with Vistara at least I did not get pushed around during boarding and getting-off. Traveling by air in India in economy class is like traveling in a greyhound bus. If you are from the US and 30+ year old avoid the Economy class.
Points négatifs : Food service needs a rethink. Flights in both directions, I could not get a beverage with my food. In both flights, to and from, the hostess couldn’t serve me a tea/coffee with my dessert

Points négatifs : Clear boarding procedures. Instead of 2 boarding groups, it could have been divided into 3-4 boarding groups to avoid congestion.

Best and very professional airline that India has seen in long time
Points positifs : I like the way this airline handles the customer right from the time of ticket booking till landing at the destination. I find this airline very professional and even better service on domestic sector then some of the world's airline services (Etihad, British Airways for instance).
Points négatifs : The only thing i do not like is the website of the airline especially when we try and use it on mobile phone, it does not respond too well. Like trying to register for Club Vistara Membership and other stuff. I had to take help of customer service executive to create my club vistara account as mobile site was not accepting basic information.

Points négatifs : They hanged me for 1 hour at checking counter because they need baggage info proof of my next connecting flight from DEL TO SFO. They should know that all flights from Del to sfo is with 2 pieces baggage.

Due to some( political ) road blockage, we arrived late at the airport and we were not given boarding pass.
The gate was open for more than 1 hour after we reached the airport.
We were not issued new tickets and not refunded.
The staff was not helpful at all.
AS we say Customer should be always first.
Anyway we missed flight from Delhi to Amritsar.
We bought new one way ticket from the airport that evening.
We were 5 adults and one baby visiting Golden temple from USA.

Points positifs : Staff on board are excellent! WAY better service than US carriers.
Points négatifs : Hassle because we closed the credit card account months after paying for the tickets: this caused significant delays which could have been catastrophic.
Points négatifs : Vistara cancelled our flight and sent notification text message to wrong number...we didn't find out until we arrived at the airport! The vistara staff helped us book a flight on another airline.
Checking in was slow

A surprise upgrade
Points positifs : While waiting to board, they first informed me that I had been upgraded from Economy to Business. Then they changed their mind and said it would be Premium Economy. I still didn't mind. And then they say, what the heck, go enjoy yourself in Business. Now that is something I will appreciate for a long time. Happy Birthday Vistara!
promising new airline in the market
Points positifs : The food quality and the inflight entertainment were better than most other commercial airlines. The free upgrade to premium economy due to availability was also welcome.
Points négatifs : Three things : 1) The crew seemed to be relatively inexperienced and just out of college. I observed a couple of informal communication exchanges from their part. But the crew were helpful and tried their best to provide the best customer experience. 2) The boarding process normally starts with business and premium class and then followed by economy. For my flight however the economy class was boarded first while the business class passengers were kept stranded waiting in a separate line. This also reflected the inexperience of the crew which handled the boarding. 3) Vistara was my connecting flight from Pune to Delhi followed by British airways flight from Delhi to London. Though the flights were booked under one ticket, the representative did not checkin my luggage throughout the journey due to which I had to collect my baggage at Delhi and check it in again. The representative explained that vistara still didn't have alliances with most airlines allowing luggage to be checked in till final destination. This is another front on which they can improve.

Points négatifs : Sièges les plus petits au monde. Je voyage beaucoup pour le travail et ce sont les sièges les plus étroits et les plus petits. Toutes les compagnies aériennes indiennes sont super bon marché et de faible qualité - avec Vistara au moins je n'ai pas été poussé autour pendant l'embarquement et le décollage. Voyager en avion en Inde en classe économique est comme voyager dans un bus greyhound. Si vous venez des États-Unis et que vous avez plus de 30 ans, évitez la classe économique.
Points négatifs : Le service alimentaire a besoin d'être repensé. Vols dans les deux directions, je n'ai pas pu obtenir de boisson avec ma nourriture. Dans les deux vols, de et vers, l'hôtesse ne pouvait pas me servir un thé/café avec mon dessert
