Points positifs : I understand why this airline is ranked very high. The food was very good, the seats have more legroom even in coach and the movie selection was good.

Points négatifs : The plane was about 1/4 full. Not that that's bad I just thought it should be mentioned.

Points positifs : Crew was very professional and served snacks and beverages at regular intervals. One of the fellow passengers was over reacting to some minor unintentional neglect by an female crew member and told her to shut up when she was trying to understand the issue. But the crew handled the situation very professionally.

Points négatifs : The flight was delayed by 3 hours. They did not even attempt to text, though they knew the flight would be delayed. When I asked the check in agents about this, they said what can they do? This is a serious lack of taking personal responsibility. What can they do? They work for the company! There are several steps they could take, but they chose to abdicate responsibility instead. Even though I'd been there for several hours and specifically asked for a window seat and been granted a window seat, during boarding, they changed my seat to a middle, which was the icing on the cake. Also, during announcements, the pilot did not even give an apology. This is poor management And I'm disappointed in Air Astana.

Points positifs : I would have appreciated that with ALL required paperwork, my stay at check in point would have lasted a little less than two hours I spent standing and waiting for a feedback.
