The entertainment was good with a wide selection of movies and TV shows. The crew was incredibly nice and helpful and I had a really pleasant time talking with them. On the airport team side I can also say they were extremely helpful as I missed my flight and they promptly rebooked me on the next one 3h later, free of charge. I think the stress of missing a flight was completely deflected by the help of the Virgin Atlantic crew at the desk so thank you for that!"

The dinner selections ran out early, so a good proportion did not get their choice."

And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

Points positifs : "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. But that flight didn’t leave until 9:00 PM. They rerouted us to fly into SFO which is about 1-1/2 hours further than SJC from our house. Not good!"

Also quite a bit of heavy turbulence the entire flight. Not ideal for an 8 hr flight. I’m lucky I brought an external charger and some xanax. Never again"

I checked my bag because they said they were running out overhead space and then they went and put my bag on a LATER FLIGHT so I still don’t have my bag"

Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."

Points négatifs : "They did not have any customs and immigration forms on the plane so everyone had to pick them up as we got off the plane and fill them out before proceeding to the customs area. It was very inconvenient for all passengers since there was not a good area to fiill out the forms and it slowed everyone down. First time I can ever recall the airlines not having the forms available before we landed"
