We had to stand in a security line for two hours thinking that we had as a consequence missed our connecting flight. Again, no communication. We found out when we finally got through security (we had already gone through security at the Paris airport), everyone was in the same situation and our flight had been delayed. It would have been helpful to know that as we were standing in line. While in the line, many people panicked and starting pushing their way to the front of the line. Again, no officials were there to keep order. It was truly a mess! And creating too much anxiety and stress that I really wanted to not have on my trip back to the USA. I realize that in these times, we must go through added security, but I am accustomed to US airports where there is more communication over the intercom and by airport officials. In Istanbul, it seemed that everyone did not want to give directions, and airport officials seemed to avoid the public they were there to serve."

They yell at you or just simply ignore you. No legroom. The crew did not mention that are flight was delayed prior or that we missed our connecting flight and what to do from there. I was given a hotel room during my layover but its in a scary neighborhood and it smells like sewage is nearby. The Grand Yavaz. The cheaper price is not worth the hassle. I can spend my good money elsewhere...i will be sure to warn others."

Checkin via l’appli impossible

Notre vol a été annulé, puis l’autre retardé ainsi nous avons loupé notre correspondance. Ensuite nous n’avons pas eu notre valise à l’arrivée

Des casques anti bruits pourraient être transmis si les conditions de voyage deviennent difficiles : les pleurs et les cris d’enfants durant tout le trajet et ce quasi sans interruption ont rendus le vol très désagréable . Vol choisi à l’initial car etant un vol de nuit et cela permettait d’avoir un peu de calme. Le personnel était sympathique et avait des bases en français ce qui était agréable. Ce qui n’était pas réellement le cas pour le vol aller . En vous remerciant,

L’embarquement s’est déroulé facilement. L’équipage manquait un peu de disponibilité

Mauvaise gestion du retard et de l’embarquement. Repas minuscule qui donne la nausée. Personnel de bord qui parle super fort y compris quand 75% du vol dort…. J’étais très mal installé, même dans une low cost j’étais mieux, assez déçue

Je suis un Franco Americain de 63 ans residant aux US depuis 38+ ans. Apparement mon retour vers Miami a ete booké sans baggage !!!??? De toute evidence une grossiere et innacceptable erreur !!! Comment puis rentrer chez moi sans bagagge ??? Imaginez ma surprise quand Air France m'a informé au "checkin" que mon billet de retOur n'incluait pas un baggage et a refusé de me laisser embarquer avec ma valise de 21 kilos si je ne payais pas un " suplement de €60. A €960+ ce billet ne qualifie pas particulierement de billet "discount"!!!??? Pour compliquer les choses encore un peu plus suite a un traumatisant vol de picpokets dans le metro parisien qq jours avant mon retour je n'avais plus de carte bancaire. Depuis presque 40 ans de voyages entre mes 2 pays je n'ai jamais eu une experience plus desagreable et humiliante dans un aeroport. De retour en Floride a la maison je suis stressé triste humilié et terriblement deçu par ce dernier jour dans ma ville lumiere de naissance.

being a flight attendant and using spécial fare I apreciate being treated equally to the other pax, the fact that the crew, when I informed them of my status, went to check if I had a good seat ( no one beside me, to be able to get good rest.) Those are important gestures towards the person. I look to more flights with KLM

DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

There was a lengthy delay after boarding. We sat on tarmac for 1/2 hour or more. People stressed due to short connection times in Iceland. Pilot made up most of the time by going faster so that was nice. But chaotic and running thru terminal and then customs in order to make it to connecting flight, Were put on a bus (about 30 people) to the plane which had already pulled away and was on tarmac."

I put on my call light to ask about purchasing (which means I’m spending money) ear buds & she made me wait another hour & a half. Not one single passenger I spoke to had anything nice to say about Iceland Air."

Our flight from Paris to KEF on Icelnd Air was delayed (for unclear reasons) recently, which meant we would miss the connecting flight from KEF back to the states. Unlike some US airlines (looking at you, United and Delta) which do very little for you in this situation, Iceland Air really stepped up. First, they paid for food at the gate. The last time I was delyed by Delta, we got airplane snacks (pop and tiny cookies). IA paid the bill for everyone at the nearby Brioche Doree for a sandwich, drink, and dessert. Then, when we got to KEF, they had delayed the flights home, just long enough that many US travellers got on those connecting flights. And they helped us sort out our luggage. (Ours didn’tmake ourflight, but we were grateful to get home nonetheless.) US carriers could really learn a lesson from Icelnd Air."

I made the stewardess aware of it bc I was not sure whether this was the beginning of a downpour or just a consistant drip....She told me she got a couple of drips too. My response to her was wait a minute you are working, I paid 300+ for this seat. She shrugged. When she came around with her cart she offered me two chocolate bars? In reykavitch we sat on the tarmack waiting for passengers delayed from Berlin. They could have delayed boarding a little more since the flight was delayed anyway."

In fact, I heard a man say he was on his honeymoon and that they changed his wife's seat so they were unable to sit together."

I don't know how hard it is to set up a monitor with a screensaver that says "IcelandAir" and cordon off some rope lines, but apparently it's pretty hard at CDG."

Bait and switch? At least be upfront that there are no assigned seats. Altho somehow others were able to book OUR seats... We will be looking to book with other airlines before choosing IceAir again. Even if we have to pay a bit more. Very disappointing for long international travel when you are under the impression that all is set..."

This was an A320 and I was about #10 getting on the flight. Space was not an issue. This added an hour to a 25 hour day to wait for luggage at LAX. And BA gives the agents an edge in that their test fixture has rounded corners to that a 22 inch suitcase that has hard square edges at the bottom (or wheels that make it square) won't fit in it. So the agent just points that it doesn't fit and you have to check. I was not happy from Paris to London."

They checked our bags through to the US but could not give us boarding cards for the 2nd leg of our flight on Virgin."
