Points négatifs : We were traveling with my 94-year-old grandfather who needed wheelchair assistance. And it took the 4th person I asked to get any assistance. The very first Alitalia person I tried to speak to was the very worst. Though her job was to check people in, she said she couldn't help me and to go to another counter. When I asked if she could please at least make a call to get a wheelchair (my grandfather was at the airport entry and couldn't walk) she made a terrible face, threw the papers on her desk around and said I had to go to another counter. When I went to the counter she pointed at, I was told again I would have to go to another counter. No offense to dog owners, but the animals that were traveling received better assistance.

Points positifs : Turkish Airlines is my favorite airline going to Europe. We even did the 20 hr layover in Istanbul and had a great time staying for a couple of nights going and coming back. Staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. The food in coach is as good as first class on some US domestic flights
Points négatifs : It's an airplane, there's not much to make it better besides giving more seat room. TA gives free drinks, a couple of meals, blankets, and the travel bag, only a snobby priss would gripe about flying with them. I've flown enough budget airlines that give you NOTHING that I love flying TA!

They served delicious meals, snacks, and water. They provided headphones, blankets and pillows. They took very good care of us.

Points négatifs : The screen/entertainment is totally not working, and it’s not only my seat, it’s more than 4 seats not working just around my area and the crew cannot fix it. So we spent 12-13 hours without anything to watch or listen. The crew told us such Boeing 787 international flights in Hainan airline was used to run China domestic lines and the entertainment system was ruined by Chinese older passengers who do not know how to use it, but this sounds like a really stupid excuse for what happened, because there is no visible damage to any hardware of the entertainment system. I’m not suggesting taking Hainan airline until they fix this issue. By the way, on my return flight, my entertainment system works fine, but there is one person who sit in the front row had bad luck. Again, this is not occasional insident, it’s happening widely in this route.

Rude, inattentive personnel; worst is that every passenger in transit need to go through customs in Xiamen which is terribly complicated. No word about this upon booking or on Xiamen airline's website. Customs in China isn't a nice experience either. Nobody was able to find the right way for check-in, it was a mess. I will never fly again Xiamen Airlines and I recommend to everyone to avoid this airline under any circumstances.

Points positifs : The plane was new, the plane was clean, and all the airline hostesses were not 65 years old. Oh and everyone complaining about the visa requirements for China. Bend over a take one for the team like a man just Go to a travel agent in any in China Town. $100 US will get you a bias good for 10 years and it only take a week. Otherwise fly Delta for $1200.
