Ticket flight selling should more detail at each a few countries when transit to Vietnam Ho Chi City. Unfortunately, I could not take this flight which was July 22 because i have to transfer airport in Japan. So that, I had to pay another ticket one way to Vietnam and in difference day.

JAL is one of the most professional & efficient airlines I’ve experienced. The food was very good: even in Economy! The entertainment interface needs some updating.

All the Japan airlines staff from the checkin agents to the air hostess were all very courteous and helpful.

Overall experience from checking in to boarding off - everything was painless and comfortable. Nice treatment. Special meals was good. Nothing to complain about. The seats were quite comfortable and had ample leg room. Will fly again with them,


The airline wanted to charge me an additional $108.00 to check my second bag despite their policy stating that the first two checked bags are free. In order to not miss my flight, I had to leave one bag. Thankfully, I had enough room in my other bag and carry on to accommodate all my things.

Gate folks had trouble maintaining order during birding. Terrible experience. Flight ok. Food not the best. Deplaning ok.

The hostesses were super friendly always offering some sort of beverage, the food was tasty (Be careful not to drop noodles on yourself like I did, those bad boys left a little mark). The video selection wasn't huge, but it was definitely adequate with good titles. Maybe I haven't noticed this before in other airlines, but they had new toothbrushes (packaged, not someone's forgotten toothbrush) in the restroom so the poor sap next to me didn't have to smell my stinky breath. Finally, they were quick with boarding! They were very punctual and we took off right when we got on, so nice!"

Also, I thought it was my headphones, but it happened on a couple of flights with different headphones, but the audio only comes out of one earphone which was slightly annoying... Other than those things, JAL is super solid and I would recommend it to anyone considering them."

They said I needed to pay 460 dollars! After arguing with them for 1 hr. They told us the flight was cancelled. Went to Singapore air& they were the best. Free for surfboards. And staff was very helpful. China air is unprofessional, and disrespectful. I will never fly with them again, nor will I recommend them to any of my friends, family, or colleagues."

I was late because customs took long and the flight from Taipei was 30 minutes late. So it's not like I was wasting time. I did not appreciate that the blame was placed on me in the way the counter people communicated with me. I noticed that the counter woman, and the supervisor did not speak to me at all. Not even to say "let me find out" or "sorry for the inconvenience" but both did speak to other customers that were of Asian Descent. They communicated both in English and Chinese. The young woman that booked the flight for me (different one from counter woman) was decent and attentive. Sherry who was the third woman I dealt with when I needed to sort the baggage issue was very attentive even explaining to the supervisor why It was the second time I was back at their offices. She went out of her way to make sure I saw my bags delivered to the UA luggage. But again, I am very disappointed and can't help to notice that other passengers received basic cordial treatment when I was blatantly ignored."

I was told this as the flight was boarding, so I had to spend $$ on a last minute flight in a panic to anywhere - that I couldn't get a refund for just so I could board the plane."

Boarding was not quick

The airport hotel provided rest hours and good dinner.

They didn’t notify anyone that the CDC had changed it’s entry requirements and cost me my flight. I will never fly with them again.

And thing this was informed to the China Southern officials so that they could arrange something for me. I was amazed to see that no one was keen to understand my problem at both he airports i.e. Auckland Airport & Ganzhaou Airport. Apart from this the behavior of your officials was so rude & arrogant it made me feel as if i was a slave or some kind of culprit. Due to the ignorance & laid back attitude on your part i couldn't reach my destination on my time. Seriously it took me "24 hrs Extra" to reach my destination & as a result of which i couldn't perform the cremation. I was pissed off by the service; complete ignorance by the staff/officials of ur airlines. I wasn't expecting this kind of treatment from a reputed company like you. I request you guys to look into this matter seriously and try to take some corrective measures so that this thing won't happen in future with someone else."

I got to the airport to find that because I didn’t have a US passport, I couldn’t take advantage of the hotel, although my wife who is American, could have chosen to. So we stayed for 9 hours in the airport, and then boarded another 10 hour flight to NZ. It would have been useful to know the limitations, and maybe even get some kind of voucher for food or a lounge from the airline since they could have told me about the passport restrictions."

I ended running through the terminal to get to the gate about 8 minutes before departure only to be denied boarding by the unknowledgeable staff. if just one person had phoned the gate and told them to hold for a passenger, I could have made my connection. Communication and efficiency is beyond horrific by the Chinese airlines. Its like living in the stone ages."
