We talked to a person from Air Lingus and he said it happens often but there's nothing to do. on board, the head sets are very old and you could only hear from one ear using the head set provided by Air Lingus. in 2018 ?! seriously !?"

Staring with being asked to pay $39 if I wanted to preselect my seat. My friend and I chose the free option of selecting our seats 24 hours before the flight--her luggage didnt even make in on the plane! It was finally delivered at 2:00 AM the next morning; well past the 8:00 PM promised delivery, which caused us to lose an entire eveing in Paris. On the return flight, home, she was told there wasn't even a seat for her on the plane. I failed to add that after booking and paying for her flight, they cancelled and deleted the SFO to London leg of the flight without so much as notifying her via email, phone, or text. Mind you, the London to Paris leg was not cancelled. Had we not tried to pre-book our seats, she would never have known they had cancelled her flight. What impacted her, impacted me, so needless to say, neither of us will ever fly BA again! BTW, their online customer service representatives were very nasty to deal with."

Points négatifs : "The connection time of 1.5 hour is barely enough for going to U.S. because U.S. pre-custom clearance takes a long time. This should be taken into consideration when the airline provides this flight option. When we get boarding pass for the second leg, Dublin to LAX, the way seats are assigned doesn't make any sense. I was assigned to row 12 but my husband was assigned to row 36. We checked in together. When we got on board, there were plenty of seats available, so it did not make sense that we were not assigned together."

We were waiting at the gate for the bus and the flight time had passed , but no announcement that the flight is delayed. finally we get on the plane and then we get an announcement that we the plane does not have clearance for another hour and half. The entertainment on board is very very old stuff, and shockingly the food is also bad and no vegetarian food."

Going back to another line to put my baggage in and show the receipt for the baggage that had been paid for twice. Going to the next (another) line with one person serving - several Dublin passengers in the que and a line that as about 100mts long- yes about 100 metres long with one person serving without any Lingus staff coming to see if all was ok . No help no announcements nothing. sitting in a plane for an hour and a half with three children under the age of four crying, screaming and yelling all the way without a thing being said by any of the crew. A little is ok, but three families with young children with no support from the crew was not pleasant"

Overall, this flight was a nightmare and a huge let down after flying to Rome on British Airways. I can't say enough about how wonderful that flight was..Aer Lingus was a big disappointment and a poor substitute for BA. Very unsatisfied customer!"

Points négatifs : "In flight when people were sleeping the crew were loud and interrupted causing you to wake up every time there was a food service or rubbish pick up. On an 11 hour flight this became very annoying when you were trying to get a good amount of sleep. The LCD screens on the back of the seats were the worst interaction I've ever witnessed on an airplane. The touch sensitivity was like something from the 1980s and made it very frustrating to select and navigate. On top of that the screens would spontaneously restart - my boyfriend and I witnessed the same interaction so it wasn't just one seat. Boarding at the terminal was not done efficiently in Dublin. The check in process with the kiosks was set up confusing and the crew helping did not help when clearly we needed it. There were no clear signs designating check in from baggage check. Baggage check that was self check out was not clear. When we received our boarding pass it stated that the doors would close at 1:30 for a 3pm flight - we got to the airport on time and were frantically trying to make it to our gate. After confusing baggage drop off we then had 2 rounds of security that was less than pleasant and we were ushered to a ground level terminal, or what was suppose to be a terminal. There was one food outlet that was understaffed with a huge line - we realized that our flight wasn't actually going to start boarding until 2pm so we could have taken our time. When boarding began they stated we were in final boarding and to not worry it was to stress out the people who hadn't been through security yet. There was no section boarding, it was just a free for all in which everyone waiting in yet another line. Very disorganized and inefficient. I would choose another airline for my next trip to Ireland."

Crew: with the exception of one - just one from a complement of 15 odd - of the crew, the rest were a surly, inhospitable miserable bunch. If you hate your job don't take it out on customers - especially in a service industry."

After flying my first segment with British airways, I wondered if the Spanish airline could keep up with BA's standards. Well, Iberia not only met the standards, but raised the bar! I am not sure if the fact that this was a day flight (unlike BA's red eye trip) or the fact that it took 2 more hours, but the crew served a full lunch, a snack AND a light meal, when with British i only received one full dinner and a morning snack."

The flight from MAD to LAX was much better with a newer plan. I would however, not fly with Iberia again, because the out bound flight was so awaful. So average rating is okay."

All He does is make priority to all local people, it took one hour to get the wheel chair & then by transfer to intl national airport by bus took another hour, we check in @ 8:30AM by the time we get into the terminal was 12:30PM the flight leave 2 12:45PM. What a service. I will never ever flight with Iberia Airline. What a BAD service. Communication by itself is very very bad, the airline crew hardly can speak English. We have 6 people. We will definitely not recommend Iberia Airline. Thank you."

Points négatifs : "On a four+ hour layover in Madrid, somehow they managed to miss transferring my single piece of luggage... Not a great start to getting to New York. The boarding process in Madrid was insane as well - I recognize the need to validate that all your passengers have been vetted and have the correct documentation, but stop the insane segregation of those passengers that are going to the USA behind a fenced off section of the international area of the terminal, in an area that has no services available. Surely there are better ways of handling this kind of a boarding situation - presumably at the initial check-in stage or even with a more thorough check at boarding - it would really not have added all that much time to do such a check at the final boarding gate as opposed to the extra 30 seconds prior to entering the segregation zone. As to the airport - STOP THE BS of pushing everybody to the gates THROUGH the entire duty-free shop. For some people, this is a torture due to many factors- for me, the smell of strong perfume (which there was plenty of) can be a very strong migrane trigger. For others, the sigh of all the bottles of alcohol (think recovering alcoholics) can be a very damaging situation. There is no reason to force all your passengers to have to walk through the duty free shop; this is just a very messy and unethical way to try to get more revenue from your clients."

As we landed, the passenger next to asked me to help take her carry on down from the top storage area (as it was extremely heavy). Her bag could've been 50lbs! The plane was over burdened with people's carry ons. What disappoints me the most is that I checked in early, but my carry on did not make it aboard the plane while other people's carry on did!"
