The food was tasty and on time, the beverages were widely presented from juices to red and white wine or beer...so The time passed quickly

Points positifs : Because of the delay taking off and refueling, they provisioned for an extra meal service. Choices were limited, but the food was decent. Crew was generally cordial and efficient. Even though there were only 13 empty seats, they made an effort to find us a place with an empty seat between us.
Points négatifs : We were stopped and grilled by AA personnel as if we were potential terrorists, even though we had TSA Pre-check clearly listed on our boarding cards. flight was 1 hr delayed boarding. Since the plane was a 747 and there were stronger than average headwinds, we had to stop in Bangot to refuel. Net result: 2 3/4 hr late arrival.
Points positifs : Flight left on departure and on board air cooling system was much welcome. Cabin crew were polite.
Points négatifs : Cabin was untidy, goodness knows what was stowed away at the back of seats towards the rear of the cabin, so rear of cabin was unwelcoming. Cabin crew should keep some overhead lockers for their own use. Poor sound quality on Inflight entertainment, either that or Headphones were poor. Food portions were painfully small (lunch of chicken risotto) AND I found pretzel flavoured breakfast bap unpopular.

Points négatifs : We were sat in the very last seats near bathroom which was noisy and uncomfortable. I actually paid an extra charge so we could be sat together. In flight entertainment didn’t work in my seat. One piece of our luggage was lost.
Points négatifs : The seats claim they have United Private Screening (TV and Movies) using the United app but it was not working. It worked well on the previous flight.
Points négatifs : United Airlines in our experience runs late putting a lot of pressure on any ongoing connections . Not clean . Staff not friendly . Only sometimes helpful.

They said to me that there are different categories of basic fare, which is not disclosed in their website. Additionally any seat change cost

Points négatifs : Our plane was delayed multiple times and we were not provided an explanation as to why. For as expensive as this fare was the fact that Delta was at fault for the delay and did not offer any compensation for that delay is frustrating. A few extra free snacks doesn’t cut it.

Points négatifs : Late departure for that most meaningless of excuses - the late arriving aircraft. And so late arriving at destination. On arrival at Berlin, there was also noone at the gate to allow us to leave the plane. All in all meant missing pickup time at the airport, and extra cost.
Points négatifs : We had a different plane with narrow seats - ok for me but not the person beside me. Nothing but tea or coffee - all food and beverage had to be purchased. My experience. Uncomfortable and hungry.

Points positifs : I liked the explanation given by the pilot when we finally got our seats on the plane. Apparently one of the computer racks wouldn't switch on, so they changed some other computer racks, and then the delay was two hours so he decided we could go flying without the broken bit. No doubt they'll be having another attempt to fix it during the next delayed turn around, or he'll phone up tech support and do a factory reset.
Points négatifs : The crew called the gate, allowed the entire flight to pass through the gate and then as we stood in the boarding gang way told us the flight had been delayed by the captain but they did not have any more information. We were then held for 2 hours sitting on the floor because the crew had taken our boarding cards and didn't want us to return to the terminal. At least I didn't pay for any upgrades as that was a just sitting on the floor closer to the plane. Funny how the plane miraculously got better when people started to talk about compensation!

Points négatifs : We were traveling with my 94-year-old grandfather who needed wheelchair assistance. And it took the 4th person I asked to get any assistance. The very first Alitalia person I tried to speak to was the very worst. Though her job was to check people in, she said she couldn't help me and to go to another counter. When I asked if she could please at least make a call to get a wheelchair (my grandfather was at the airport entry and couldn't walk) she made a terrible face, threw the papers on her desk around and said I had to go to another counter. When I went to the counter she pointed at, I was told again I would have to go to another counter. No offense to dog owners, but the animals that were traveling received better assistance.

Points positifs : Well I will start by saying the flight crew was excellent. The highlight of my trip was I left my I phone on the plain when connecting at London Hethrow airport. As a father of 3 leaving my kids for 4 days was already stressful. I realized I left it when I was boarding the train to go to the next terminal. I looked up saw Captain Hope and told him what had happened. He went back to the access gate and back to my seat and returned with my cell phone. I was shocked. What Captain does that? This guy is great and was a positive reflection on British Airways. What made it more special is we were in France during the attacks and if I didn't have my cell phone I wouldn't have been able to keep in touch with my family to let them know I was okay.
